T0 ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Be it known that I, CHARLES J'. HAUCK, oi' 26 and 28 Stagg street, Brooklyn, Eastern District, in the county of Kings, in the State of New York, have invented a new Design for Tobacco-Box; and [do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable those skilled in thc art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part of this specification, in which drawing- Figure 1 represents a side elevation of this invention.

This design relates to a round, planished tobacco-box, which is composed of a. round body and corresponding lid, cach being made in the form of a segment of a. sphere, and provided with a bead, in such a manner that, when the box is closed, it presents a novel and elegant appearance.

A represents the body of my tobncco-box, and B its top or lid. Each of these parts presents the appearance of the segientof -a sphere, and the body is provided with a rounded edge or bead, b; and when thc box is closed Athe two beads a and b are separated by a. narrow fillet, c. By these means a tobacco-box is obtained which presents a. novel and elegant appearance, and which is of such a shape that it een be conveniently carried in tbe pocket.

What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design for a tobacco-box, ns shown and described.
