DESIGN FOR A GONPECTIONEBJS CORNUCOPIA.
T0 ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Be it known that I, CHRISTIAN W. QUANz,-of the city, county, and Stute of New York, have originated and designed a new Confectioner's Cornucopia, of which the following is n full, clcar, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification.
This invention relates to a new and original design for a confectioners' Cornucopia; and the invention consists in giving to the rim or mouth of such cornucopin. an ornamental paper border, which in design represents lace or fancy needle-work, ns hereinafter shown and described.
`The drawings show a. perspective view of my invention, in which A is the body of the Cornucopia, constructed in the ordinary manner and having a ribbon bail or handle, C. To the rim a a I attnchan ornamental border, B, which, in thc drawing, represents point-lace or needle-work.' This gives the article a more neat and finished appearance, and therefore adds materially to its pleasing qualities. The bodyAof the article, and the border B, may be constructed from a. single piece of material, or the body may be constructed hyitself and tho border B attached thereafter, as found most convenient.
What I claim as my invention, nud desire to secure by Letters Patent, is 4 The design or pattern for the mouth of aconfectionera' cornucopia, as herein shown and set forth.
