Be it known that I, CHARLES EDWARD ITA v- ILAND, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of Limoges, in the Republic oi" France, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Dish or Tnreen, of which the following is a specifica-tion, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof, in Which- Figure 1 is a side elevation oi' a dish or tnreen bearing and incorporating m y design. Fig. 2 is a top View of same, and Fig. 3 is a sectional View of a portion of same on the dotted line 3 3 of Fig. 2.
The leading features of my design consist of the ornamental form and configuration of the dish or tnreen and its cover, substantially as illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
The sides of the dish are composed of the scalloped sections A, which curve inward and downward to the scalloped hase B, which bears the ornamentation C. The upper edges of the sides of the dish bear the ornamental band D, at whose lower edge is the scallopedscroll ornamentation E. The opposite ends of the dish have the ornamental handles Fl".
The cover Ghas a raised center l l, composed of scalloped seeiionsl, having the ornamental outer edging J. At the apex of the raised center ll on the cover is the ornamental handle K. The outer edges of the cover G are scalloped to harmonize with the sides oll the dish or tureen and hear the lilies of ornamentation L M, which harmonize with the ornamental configurations l) 'E on the sides of the dish.
