SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,298, dated March 24, 1896.

Be it known that l, Amnimpo I". Enema, a citizen of the l'nited States, residing at the city of Philadelphia, in the county of lhiladelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and prod need a new and original Dosign for a Carpet orother Fabric, of which the following, taken in connection with the aceompanying, d rawing, is a specification.

My design comprises the pattern which is illustrated in the accompanying drawing and which imparts when displayed upon a fabric a distinguishing or charaeterist ic appearance.

In the drawing, A is the body, I; the border, and A and l; the carpet.

The leading or characteristic feature of the pattern may be said to be the corniform figure a, displayed upon a background 1).

Obviously the design of my invention may be applied to \Yilton, Brussels, velvet, and

body A, and the border I substantially as 3 shown.
