DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE-STOPPER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,577, dated August 20, 1895.
Application filed April 4, 1894. Serial No. 506,352- Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom, it may concern.-
Be it known that I, JOHN II. GAUL'I, a citizen of the United States, residing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have invented a certain Design for Bottle-Stoppers,of which the following is a specification.
My design for a bottle-stopper is clearly shown in the accompanying drawings, and the main feature of my design is the cap formed to represent a flower of the buttercup type and having an ornamental flange.
Referring to the drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective view of a bottle-stopper, illustrating my design. Fig.2 is a plan view. Fig. 3 is a side View.
A is the flange of the bottle-stopper, having an ornamental band consisting of a. series of foliated scrolls and ribbon-work, and projecting from this flange is a stem B, supporting a representation of a buttercup having petals d, curved upward, and stamens and pistils e at the center below the upper edge of the petals. fare cavities near the center of the flower.
I claim- The design for a bottle stopper a flange with a hand having foliated ornamentation and a stem having an ornamental head in the shape of a buttercu p asherein described and as shown in the accompanying drawings.
