SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,563, dated August 13, 1895.

Be it known that I, ARTHUR MIDDLETON ROSE, residing at Yonkers, county of West chester, State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to be l/Vronght into \Vilton and other Oarpetings in such coloring as may be designed; and I do hereby declare that the drawing accompanying this specification gives and con- 'veys to any one skilled in the art of carpet weaving and manufacture a clear understanding of the same, and is suflicient to enable such person to use my invention.

The design consists of the body A and the border B.

The body A is decorated with a circular figure with ornamental center appearing at intervals and surrounded with vine and leaf work.

The border B shows a similar circular fig- 2o body A, and the border B, substantially as 30 shown.
