DESIGN FOR A SUSPENDER-WEB.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 22,924, dated November 28, 1893. Application filed December 8, 1892. Serial No. 454,536. Term of patent 3% years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, CASPER BLOOMBERG, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Webs of Suspenders, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, in which the figure represents a piece of suspenderwebbing made in accordance with my design.

The leading feature of my design consists of a suspender web having looped borders and between these borders lateral and longitudinal strands which appear alternately on the back and front of the web, the two surfaces being exact duplicates and the whole appearing similar to crochet work.

A represents the suspender web, B the single longitudinal broad strands and O longitudinally running, narrow strands.

D represents a zigzag arranged cord which passes back and forth laterally and appears alternately on the front and back of the webbing. The cord D being thus arranged forms a loop at each lateral terminal, thus presenting a loop border along the edges of the sus pender web which gives a finished and attractive appearance to the suspender web which is pleasing to the eye and also renders the suspender webbing very durable.

What I claim as my invention is- The design for a suspender web, substantially as shown and described.
