DESIGN FOR FRINGE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 20,171, dated September 30, 1890.

Application filed August 25, 1890. Serial No. 363,050. Term of patent 3% years.

.To all whom it may concern.-

Be itknown that I, THEODOR H. BARTMANN, of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, a citizen of the United States, have invented a certain new and original Design for Fringe, of which the following is a specification.

In the accompanying drawing, forming a part of this specification, a face View of my improved fringe is shown.

The leading feature of my invention consists in alternating rows of figures having parallel sides and triangular ends and diamondshaped figures, and in triangular tassel-pendants and diamond-shaped figures Within said tassel-pendants.

A represents rows of openings having parallel sides and triangular ends. B represents rows of diamond-shaped figures between the ends of the openings A. 0 represents triangular tassel-pendants; D, diamond-shaped figures in the same, and F the tassels.

Having thus described my invention,I claim asnewand desire to secure by Letters Patent- A design for fringe, herein shown and described, the same consisting of alternating rows of parallel figures having triangular ends and diamond-shaped figures, triangular tassel-pendants, and tassels, substantially as set forth.
