DESIGN FOR A CARPET.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,042, dated April 9, 1889. Application filed February 27, 1889. Serial No. 301,414- Term of patent 3% years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, EDWARD POOLE, of the city of Brooklyn, county of Kings, and State of New York, have invented a new and origi- 5 nal Design for Carpets, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying photograph, which forms a part of the same.

The invention relates to a design to be to Worked into or upon surfaces,such as carpets or similar fabrics; and it consists in the novel configuration and grouping of figures herein specifically shown and claimed.

The accompanying photograph is a face I 5 View of a carpet showing my new design.

My design consists of a body part, A, and a border, B.

What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

1. The design for carpets, consisting of the 20 body part A, substantially as shown.

2. The design for carpets, consisting of the border B, substantially as shown.

3. The design for carpets, consisting of the body part A and the border B, substantially 25 as shown.
