To all whom it may concern.-

Beit known that I, HENRY HORAN, of East Orange, county ofEssex, and State of New Jersey, have invented a new and original Design for Carpets, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying photograph, which forms a part of the same.

The invention relates to a design to be worked into or upon surfaces, such ascarpets or similar fabrics; and it consists in the novel configuration and grouping of figures herein specifically shown and claimed.

The accompanying photograph isa face View of a carpet showing my new design.

My design consists ofa body part, A, and a border, B.

What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

1. The design for carpets, consisting of the body part A, substantially as shown.

2. The design for carpets, consisting of the border B, substantially as shown.

3. The design for carpets, consisting of the body part A and the border B, substantially as shown.
