SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 18,569, dated August 28, 1888. Application filed July 23, [888. Serial No. 280.800. Term of patent 3} years My design consists of a body part, A, and a border, B.

What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

1. The design for carpets, consisting of the 20 body part A, substantially as shown.

2. The design for carpets, consisting of the border B, substantially as shown.

3. lhe design for carpets, consisting of the body part A and the border B, substantially as 2 5 shown.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, HENRY Horus, of East Orange, county of Essex, and State of New J ersey, have invented a new and original Design 5 for Carpets, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying photograph, which forms a part of the same.

The invention relates to a. design to be IC worked into or upon surfaces, such as carpets or similar fabrics; and it consists in the novel configuration and grouping of figures herein specifically shown and claimed.
