To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Emn G. SAUER, of the city of Brooklyn, county of Kings, and State of New York, have invented a. new and original Design for Carpets, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying photograph, which forms a part of the same.

The invention relates to a design to be worked into or upon surfaces, such as carpets or similar fabrics; and ii; consists in the novel configuration and grouping of figures herein specifically shown and claimed.

The accompanying photograph is a. face view of a carpet, showing my new design.

My design consists of a. body part A and a border B. Bod: part A consists of four distinct octagon-s sped figures filled in with as shown.
