DESlGN FOR A STAlR-CARPET BUTTON.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 22,425, dated May 9, 1893.
Application filed Hatch 8, 1893. Serial No. 465,184. Term of patent. '7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
- Be it known that we, DAVID WALKER and ROBERT II. WARREN, citizens of the United States, residing at Newark, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a. new and original Design for Stair-Carpet Buttons; and we do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
Figure 1 is a front elevation of a stair carpet button showing our design and Fig. 2 is a sectional view of the same.
The leading feature of the design consists of a stair carpet button on the face of which is displayed an annular series of heart-shaped ornaments disposed around the center ornament, substantially as shown.
In said drawings, (1 indicates the button, I)
the center thereof, around which is displayed an annular series of raised dot-like ornaments f; c a. series of heart-shaped ornaments disposed aronnd saidannular center and raised from the plane of said center as shown in Fig. 2, and (1 indicates the annular border of the button. Around the border, the button is ornamented by lines of raised dots, e, and the same ornamentation is displayed around the annular center ornaments and the heartshaped ornaments, as at f and g.
What we claim as new is- The design for a stair carpet button as herein described and shown.
