Be it known that I, JOHN C. DUEBER, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Canton, county of Stark, State of Ohio, have invented a new and useful Design for \Vatelv Cases, of which the following is a full, clear, and exaetdescription, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification.
This invention relates to a new design for watch-cases, as shown on a case of bassine form.
Figure 1 is a view in perspective of a watchease, showing my design. Fig. 2 is a similar view of the edge of the case.
On the front and back lids and central to the case is shown a plain circular portion A, designating the center or poles of the case, from which a. series of alternating grooves B and oval ribs 0 radiate, the grooves diverging as they approach the contour of the lids and the ribs enlargingdiametrically, as shown. About the periphery of the lids is shown an ornamented band E, the edge or margin F of the case between the bands E being covered with a design.
The leading features of the design are the ornamental bands E, the ribbed or [in ted lids, and the vermicelli-seroll covering the edge of the watch-ease between the bands E, as shown.
What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for watch-oases herein shown and described, the same consisting, of the ornamental bands E, the ribbed or tinted lids, and the vermieelli-seroll covering the edge of the watch-ease between the bands E, asset forth.
