DESIGN FOR A WATCH-CASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,813, dated August 30, 1892.
Application filed July 18, 1892. Serial No. 440,412. Term ofpatent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOHN C. DUEBER, acitizen of the United States, and a resident of Canton, county of Stark, State of Ohio, have invented a newand useful Design foraWatch- Case, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification.
Figure 1 is a view in perspective of a watchcase, illustrating my invention. Fig. 2 is a view of the edge of the same.
On the lids of the case and central thereto is shown a plain circular portion A, from which radiate a series of alternate grooves B and oval ribs 0, increasing in breadth as they approach the perimeter of the lid, at which point is shown a small plain bead a. The bezel portion of the lid is a plain polished flat bevel D, extending from the head a to a bead b at the outer edge of the lid. The bead b is ornamented by a series of small transverse ribs c. The rim E is a plain polished sharp oval.
The leading features of my design are the radial ribs 0, the plain head a, the transversely-ribbed bead b, the fiat beveled bezel D, and the plain oval rim F or edge of the case between the ribbed beads b, as shown.
What I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for a. watch-case, as herein described and shown.
