DESIGN FOR A CARPET.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 20,791, dated June 2, 1891.

Application filed April 30, 1891. Serial No. 391,146. Term of patent 3% years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, HENRY 1V. PARTON, a citizen of the United States, residing at Yonkers, Vestchester county, New York, have invented a new and original Design for Carpets, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying photograph, which forms a part of the same.

The invention relates to a design to be Worked into or upon surfaces,snch as carpets or similar fabrics; and it consists in the novel configuration and grouping of figures herein specifically shown and claimed.

The accompanying photograph is a face view of acarpet, showing my new design.

My design consists of the body A and border B. The body A consists of a somewhat shaded panel surrounded by intertwining flower, leaf, and branch forms upon a shaded HENRY W. PARTON.
