To @ZZ whom t may concern:
Be it known that we, JACOB GoLDsTEIN and ISRAEL BLOCK, citizens of the United States, and residents of New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Designs for Gas or Oil Stoves; and we do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
Figure l of the drawings is a representation of this invention, and is a top View. Fig. 2 is front View. Fig` 3 is a front view of two stoves together, forming a twin stove.
This invention relates to designs for oil or gas stoves; and it consists in the novel form and con figuration of the stove as shown and described.
The letter A designates the base of the stove extending outward and downward from its marginal ring a in convex form, having the series of open-work bars b, and below the same the skirt c, having the indented lower edge and extending downward to form the feet d.
B represents the eylinder-body, and su rmounting the saine is the Haring open-work crown E, having the rim-bead e and the marginal ange f exterior thereto, said flange extending slightly downward in curved form. The aring openwork crown E is exteriorly concave in its lower portion with reference to its sectional form, as at g, and is in its upper portion convex, as at g.
O is the cylinder-base flaring downward and outward in line with the eonvexity of the stove-base A, its ornamentation being conidposed of theleaf-form feet h, the leaf-form intermediate extensions h', and the open-work Connections h2. Below the ,leaf-form feet are the studs or pedestals k, which project upward from the upper marginal ring or band a of the base A.
D is the open-work rest-piece of the stovetop, the same having the solid center fm, the long lateral loopsnn, and the segment-shaped loops Z l exterior to said lateral loops.
The saine design may be used in forminga double or twin stove, the bases being joined b v an open-work brace-connection.
XVe claim- The design for a gas or oil stove herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof we atix our signatures in presence of two witnesses.
