Be it known that we, FRANKLIN L. SHEP- PARD, of Philadelphie, Pennsylvania, and a. citizen of the United States, and FRANCIS RITCHIE, also afeitizen of the United States, residing in Troy, New York, have invented e, new and original Design for a. Ran ge or Stove, of which the following is a. specification.

Our design for the ornamentation of the Io plates of a range is fully illustrated in the aeeompanying photographie representation.

The general design is that of foliated and scroll work, and the lending,r feature is the lea-f surrounded by n circular bend.

I5 The ornementation of the base-panels is composed of a. central representation of n leef with a circular band surrounding the saine, lche two ends of which ere tied ab -the base. Projecting from eeeh side of this bend is or- 2o namental scroll-work. The panel is surrounded by a ribbed border.

The ornamentation of the doors of the range is in keeping with the ornamentation of the base-panels, the oven-door A having a central nemeplate b, which is ornamented in keeping with other parts of the stove. On each side of this ornamental panel is soroilwork with a. central foliated design, the bend being broken, showing Hering ends. The firedoor B has central ornementation composed of the leaf and circuler bend and a. short scroll et each side of the knot in seid bend. The eshpt door and ventilator have smell foliated scroll designs thereon, as eiesrly shown. The oven-door A is bounded by n.

The defieeting-plnte D under Jehe boiler is divided into two panels, eeeh panel having the cent1-nl leaf representation, the circuler bend and the scrolls projecting from each 4o side similar to the bnsepenel a. The side panels of the range are in keeping' with the front panel, and the open-work of the snpporting structure is also in keeping.
