DESIGN FOR A METALLIC FINISHING-PLATE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,338, dated October 1, 1889.
Application filed August 17, 1889 Serial No. 321,149- Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, LONGLEY LEwIs SAGEN- DORPH. acitizen of the United States, residing at Cincinnati, in the county of Hamilton, State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Metallic Finishing-Plates for Buildings, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying, drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is a plan view of a part of a linishing-plate showing my design, and Fig. i is a cross-section taken thronghoneof the crossgrooves in Fig. 1.
My design consists of a metallic finishingplate having figures A, each figure being inclosed by the grooves B, with a circular depression t at the intersection of the grooves, as shown. Each groove 1- is made up of the angular portions 11 and circular poriion I), as shown in section. the bottom portion of the circular groove Z) being, on a plane with the lowest point; of the circular depressions C at the intersection of said grooves.
The rectangular figures A ma he varied in dimensions to suit the taste of the designer.
What I claim is- The design for a metallic finishing-plate herein shown and described, the same consisting of figures A inclosed by the grooves 1% and having the circular depressions U at the intersecting points of said grooves, the latter having the angular portions 1) and circular portion b, as set forth.
