UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
CHARLES A. JACQUES, 0F NEW YORK, N. Y., ASSIGNOR T0 GEO. BORGFELDT & C0., 0F NEW YORK, N. Y., A CORPORATION 0F NEW JERSEY.
DESIGN FOB A CLOCK-CASING.
Specification for Design.
Patented Mar. 7, 1916.
To all whom t may concern:
Be it known that I, CHARLES A. JACQUES, a citizen of the United States, and resident of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Clock-Casing, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, and in which the figure is a perspective view of a clockcasin showing my new design.
Re erring to the drawing, the casing has plane sides which are straight from the base up to near the top where they curve together to meet at an angle, thus forming an equilateral pointed arch. It is to be further noted that from the door frame of the casing a second pointed arch springs upwardly as an ornamental molding located between the arched top of the casing and the semicircular top of the door frame. Thus there is seen, in relief, above the door frame two distinct ogives, one smaller and included between the sides of the other, with a plane depressed surface lying therebetween. A similar plane surface also appears between the smaller ogive and the arch of the door frame.
I claim:
The ornamental design of a clock casing as shown.
CHARLES A. JACQUES.
