CHARLES H. ROSTER, OF BROOKLYN, NEW YORK, ASSIGNOR TO THE UNEX- CELLED FIREWORKS COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A DEGORATlVE FABRIC.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,152, dated June 11, 1689.
Application filed June 12, 1888. Serial No. 276,881. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, CHARLES H. KOSTER, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bunting. of which the follow ing is a specification, reference being made to the accompanying drawing, in which the figure is a plan view showing the design.
The object of this design is to provide a novel decorative bunting; and the leading feature thereof consists in alongitudin al starsprinkled stripe extending in a right line along one edge of the fabric, with its longitudinal edges continuously straight and parallel, and transverse stripes of alternately-contrasting colors, all extending in straight lines from and at right angles to the in nerstraight edge of the longitudinal stripe to the outer edge of the fabric.
The lettera indicates thelongitudinal stripe sprinkled with stars I) and extending in a right line along one edge of the fabric, with its outer and inner longitudinal edges 0 and d continuously straight and parallel to each other. The transverse stripes e and f are of alternately-contrasting colors, and all extend in straight lines from and at right angles to the inner straight edge d of the star-sprinkled stripe a. The longitudinal stripe is of a color contrasting with the color of the transverse stripes.
What I claim is- The design for decorative bunting, consisting of the longitudinal star-sprinkled stripe (1, having the outer and inner longitudinal edges 0 (1 extending in right lines parallel to each other, and the transverse stripes e f, of alternately-contrasting colors, all extending in straight lines from and at right angles to the inner straight edge of the longitudinal stripe, substantially as shown and described.
