DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE-CASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,088, dated May 14, 1889.
Application filed October 18, 1888 Serial No. 288,470. Terml of patent 14 years.
T0 all whom it may concern.-
Beit known that I, WILLIAM BETTMANN, of the city of New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Cases for Bottles, of which the following is a speciiication.
This invention relates to a design for a bottlc-case, such as those used in putting up dressing for ladies shoes.
The accompanying drawing represents a bottle-case in elevation embodying this design, a portion of the cover of said case being broken out, showing the screw-threaded neck of the body over which said cover iits.
The leading features of this design are a body cylindrical in shape and having a surface ornamentation, as shown and hereinafter described, and a cover comprising a cylinder and a dome-like knobbed top having surface ornanientations, as shown and hereinafter described.
In the drawing, A represents the body, and B the cover.

The cover D is in the shape of a smaller cyl- The body A is a cylinder in i inder surmounted by a dome-like top, D', having` a knobshaped device, E, and is provided with a square bead, B2, between its cylinder and top, and at its lower end with a conical bead, D3, an oval bead, D4, and between said last-mentioned beads with a torus, C.
I claim- The design herein described and shown, the same consisting of a torus, a concave bead above said torus, a vertical cylinder above the concave bead, an oval bead above the vertical cylinder, a torus above the oval bead, a conical bead above the upper torus, a smaller vertical cylinder above the conical bead, a square bead above the smaller vertical cylinder, a dome-like top above said square bead, and a knob-shaped device surmounting said dome-like top.
