Be it known that I, ALFRED HnALD, a citi zen of the United States, and a resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Carpet-Pattern, of which the following is a speei fication.
My design for a CElI'PLt-Inlttfilll is fully shown in the accompanying photograph.
The design for the body of the pat-tern consists of re 'n'esent-n-tions of stems with masses of leaves and flowers, and with smaller stems, buds, and blossoms filling in the groundwork. Out-side ofthe body is the border, having on Trrm of patent 3.} years.

I claim 1. The design for a earpetpaltern, said de sign consisting of the central or body portion, liming the iloral ornamentation shown and described.
2. The design for a cmpet-pattern, said design consisting of a central strip with floral ornamentation, and inner and outer bands with ornamentation, as shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have signed my name to this specification in the presence of two snbthe inside a narrow band and on the outside scribing witnesses.
