Letlcrs Patent for a Desir/n, No. 6G, dated llfuy 28, 1861.
SPECIFICATION.
TO ALL IVIIOM IT MAY UONOISRN:
Be it linown, that I, N. S. VEDDER, of the city of Troy, in the county of Rensselaer, and State of New York, have invented or produced a new and original design for Cooking Stoves, and I do hereby declare the following is a Vuil and exact description of the same, reference being had to the annexed photographie drawings, which make a part of this specification, and in which- Fig. l is a perspective view of the whole stove, and
Fig. 2, of one of its feet on a larger scale.
My ornamental design for cooking stoves consists ot' the arrangement upon each foot A, shaped as shown by lig. 2, of two oak leaves b b, the acorn c, the two acorn cups rZ d, and the two scrolls e e, on the top plate F, made Wider over the iiebox than over the oven, the rounded hanging edge g, on the upper front plate the raised words Forest Oak, and the moulding It along and over the top and sides of the space for the doors I I, the moulding j on the edge of the hearth plate, the panel moulding 7c and oahr leaves Z Z on the lower front plate, the compound moulding m along the base of the stove, the oak leaves n back of the projecting part o of the side plate, the compound moulding p along the border, and the oai; leaf' g, or oak leaves o' r, on the middle of the doors S T U and I I respectively, the whole being Shaped and disposed in combination, as shown by the annexed photographs.
Now, I do not claim as new any of the above mentioned ornamental parts separately, or independently of all the others, combined and arranged as above specified, and shown by the annexed photographie drawings.
