DESIGN FOR A TOY MONEY-BOX.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 12,450, dated September 6, 1881.
Application filed July 29, 1881 Term otpnlent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM EVANS, Jr., a citizen of the United States, residing at Philadelphia, in the county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a. new and original Design for a Toy Money- Box, of which the following is a specification, reference being had totheaccompnnyingdrawing, in which the figure is a perspective view of the toy money-box embodying my invention, and in which- A represents the box, which is of the form of a, United States letter-box, provided with a top inlet, (1, (shown in dotted lines,) and a cover, b, therefor, and a. bottom door, a.
B represents a pedestal, which is secured to the bottom of the box A and terminates in a broad base, B, on which the moneybox stands, said pedestal being of the form of two connected frustuins of cones, so that there is a. graceful spreading or widening of the pedesml at its ends.
0 represents a mound, and D an eagle or bird surinounting the top of the box and adding to the appearance thereof.
It will be seen that the design is novel, ornamental, an attractive.
Having thus described my invention, what 1 claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
1. The design for a toy money-box herein shown and described, the some consistingot' a letter-box and a. pedestal.
2. The design for a toy money-box herein shown and described, the same consisting ofa letter-box and the surmounted mound.
3. The design for a toy money-box herein shown and described, consisting of a letterbox and the surmounted eagle.
l. The design for a toy money-box herein shown and described, consisting of u letterbox, the supporting pedestal, and the surmounted eagle.
