To all whom it may concern: f
Be it known that I, Louis V, ARONsoN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Newark, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and originalDesign fora Clock-Oase, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure lis a front elevation of a clock-case embodying my new design. Fig. 2 is a side View of the same.
As shown in the accompanying drawings, the leading or material features of my design are the die or pedestal, its ornamental base with scroll feet, the female figure, and the spray of foliage surmounted bythe socket for the clock.
This design comprises a die or pedestal a, having a molded base b, with scroll-feet c at its corners, a spray of foliage d, projected n pward from the base adjacent to one side of the pedestal, the socket ffor the clock, supported upon such foliage and having the f0- liage extended around the socket and terminated in a scroll above the top of the same, and a female iigu re e, standing upon the pedestal a, with the arms of the figure extended toward the scroll of the socket and one hand leaning against the cheek of the figure. The female figure e is draped quite loosely, and the Whole design is in the baroque style of the fifteenth century.
Having thus described my invention, What I claim is- The design for a clock-case as herein shown and described.
