The Schedule referred to ,in these Letters Patent and making part of the same i I Be it known that 1,' LAURITZ ANDERsomofUhicago, in the county of Cook, and State ot' Illinois, have invented 4a new and valuable'Improvement in J umping lonies;y and I do herehy declare that the following 'is' a full, clear, and exact description of the construction and operation of the same, reference lieing hadto the annexeddranings, making a part of this speciiication; and to the letters and gures oi' reference marked thereon.

My invention relates to rocking-horses, and
It consist-s, mainly, in attachingv tosuch horses devrites by which a jumping motion is secured therefor.
The letter A, of the drawings, representsarocking-V horse, constructed `in the usual manner, but with *a portion of itshody cnt` out, in the form of a slot, to admit the devices hereinafter described.
The letter B represents a 'plate with a corrugated bottom, attached to thebody by pins a, and spring D, in the manner shown. i
