To all whom 'it may concern:
Be it known that I, HUGO DAHMS, eX- porter, a subject ofthe King of England, and residentv of Berlin W. 30, Germany, have invented an Improved Stocking-Suspender, of
which the following is a specification.
Stocking Suspenders are known in which the edge of the stocking is gripped by` a spring clamp. This clamp does not hold unless it is continually tensioned, but as this is not always the case, the stocking is often released.
Stocking suspenders are also known constructed of two loo s which areslipped over pender in use.
To a band b which is fastened to the corset orthe like, is sewn 'a string g, which at its lowest end is provided with a button or the This button is attached thereto in that the middle of the string is passed through a hole in the button, and then passing the ends of the strin lwhich have not yet been sewn to the band ,through the loop which is thus formed and then tightening the string, so that the button is heldin theloop'. Having fully described my invention, what l claim and desire to secure by Lett` lPatent isze 1. A stocking suspender, comprising in combination, a band, a string sewn to the band, a button at the end of the string, a second string attached to said band, an eye at the end of said second string, a loop formed at the end of said second string, said loop ada ted to it over the button, substantially as iescribed and shown and for the purpose set forth.

A stocking suspender, comprising in combination, a band, a string sewn to said band, a button at the endof said string, a second-string attached to said band having an eye at the end thereof, an india rubber ring aroundv said second string, aloop formed at the end of. said second string, said loop ada ted to fit over the button, substantially as escribed and shown and for the purpose set forth.
