ful Improvements in Vll1ip-'Holders, of which the following is'a specification. I My invention relates to Whip holders from which. the whip is suspended by its upper end or snapper. y
One of the. objects of my invention is to produce an improved whi holder of the sus pension type which may v e formed entirely of wire. x
Another object of my invention is to provide a whip holder of the suspension type e that may be easily attached to one of t folding. arms of a carriage top.
Referring to the accompanying drawings, Figure]. illustrates a Whip holder embodying my invention operatively attached. to 'a bug y top and supporting a whip. Fig. 2 is apliin view of the Whip holder onan enlarged scale. Fig.3 is an end elevation of the same; Fig. 4 is a perspective view of the holder.
The present embodiment of the invention made of a single piece of Wire, one end of which is bent to: form a spring clip 1 havingan open lower end, said clip com rising the double vertical ar1ns2 and 3. Xtanothe'r point in the wire asimilar spring clip 4 is formed, the latter clip comprising tlie double arms 5. and 6. 'lheclips 1 and 4 are united by a straight length of wire 7 joining one of the arms 3 with one of the arms 6. To the other arm 6 is attached a horizontally-extending spring'olip 8 consisting of two arms 9 and 10, the arm IObeing one end of th wire from which the device is made.
