4. A sample holder adapted to be inserted in a bolt of goods, eomprising a rectangular wire frame bent downvvardly 0n one end; a

sheet metal body resiliently secured over the dovvn turned end and adapted tehold the 15 sarnple strip against ehe down turned end; and a tens1on deviee situated on the body near the down turned end.
