Tzall whom t ma/y concern Be it known that I, LE GRAND KNIEFEN, of Roches# ter, in the county of Beaver, and State of YPennsyl Vania, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Buckles forGrainLBands, Bag-Tics, and other purposes, of which the following is a full, `vclear, and exact description.
My invention consistsy First, in makingan opening in the frame of the buckle, for the insertion of the c ord or strap laterally, instead of threading it through the buckle, 'as heretofore.
