T0 ALL WHOM IT MAY OONOERN:
Be it known that I, FREDERICK MEYER, of Newark, in the county of Essex, andState of New Jersey, have invented a new Improvement in Scoops for Saales; and I do hereby declare that the following is a. full und exact description of the same, reference being had to the aocompanying dra.wing and 120 the letters of referenee marked thereon.
My invention consists in the construobion of a scoop, A, of one piece of metal, pressed o1 otherwise formed int0 shape.
T he advzmtages over the common scoop made with a seam in the middle crosswise are, firstlessening the expense of manufacture'; second, greater strength; third, saving the dirt o1 other matter from colloeting a1: the seanqand thoreby preventing the baluncing of the scale; fourth, greater durability; fifth, improvement und elegance of appearance.
What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
