:Bey it known that I, C. W. BLAQKMAN, of Bridgeport, in the county ot liainield, and 'State of Connec have invented n new und improved IIens Nest; a'nd that the following. description, taken in connection wil necompnnyinfar drawings, hereinafter referred-to, forms a full and exact specification of the same, wherein I Vset forth the nature and principles of my seid improvements by which my invention may he, distinguished fro others of o similar class, together with such ports as I claim, and d esire to have secured to me by Letters Pa to lay eggs iu one nest at the same time, :rndv when n. hen is sit-ting on efr the sitting hen' disturbed.

This invention relates to o new und improved nest for hens', :ind has tier its object the prevention ofA tuen one hen occupying the nest at the suine time. Hoving thus described my invention, I cluim as new, ond desire to secure by Letters Patent- A nest' for hcns, composed of a. box, A, provided with two doors B B hung on piyots'c e, nnd'construcl cachot-two parts, b b', st right ongles with erich other, and connected by cross-rods C C, all arranged to operi in the mann-cr substantially as shown and described.
