To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Annrson R. TrrUs, of Warren, Warren county, State of Pennsylvania, have invented an Improved Revolving Milk-Stand and I do hereby declare that the following is a clear and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawin gs, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, making a part of this specification.
The nature and object of my invention consist in the shape and construction of a revolving milk-stand that is portable, and intended to stand in a spring-house or cellar most convenient to the person when churning butter, and revolving, so that a milk-crock can be lifted off and emptied into a thorn beside it,'
, A vertical shaft, D, revolves in the center upon a step, E, and is sustained in its upright position by the brace G, the journal or top of the shaft working in the center of the brace O. A number of radial arms or brackets, GG, firmly attached to the shaft D, project out ward from four to six feet in length at'equidistances apart, upon which are fastened two or more circular ribs or flanges, H, upon which the crooks J or other dishes are placed for safety as well as convenience, and whenever the housekeeper desires a certain crock or dish the circular center stand is revolved and the lifts off the crock or dish required. Underneath the brackets G is a hollow tin or metal cone, K, permanently fastened to the shaft D,
that completely prevents rats or vermin from reaching the crooks or dishes above.
What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The construction and arrangement of the frame A B O, revolving shaft D, brackets G,
