- advantage may be derived from the further addition of a surface active cationic compound which does not contain fluorine in combination or not with a nonionic compound of the same type.

- the molar ratio nonionic to cationic is far less critical here. The same may be said for the total amounts to be employed.
- Example I The experiment of Example I was repeated in such a way that in the preparation of the PTFE dispersion also 1 g (1.35 mmoles) of a nonionic surface active fluorocarbon compound (FC 170) was used. In this case the percentage nonionic was about 17 mole percent and in all 5.5 mg/m 2 or 8.7 ⁇ 10 -3 mmoles/m 2 of surface active compound was present.
