This invention relates to carry-all vanity cases.

The carry-all vanity case which is herein described and claimed may best bede'scri'bed as a duplex case or" a combination cigarette and vanity case. Ithastwo compartments, one containing a powdeipufi and powder holder, and the other containing cigarettes and a lipstick holder.

The two compartments are separated from'each other'by means of at least one wall or partition. Each'compartment'has its'own hinged cover and 2 Claims. When it is closed manually against the action of the spring, it may be locked in closed position'by sliding the locking member over upon it. If the locking member is moved a sufficient distance to clear the cover of the powder compartment, said cover will swing toopen position in response to theaction' of its torsion spring. This cover, too, may be'closed manually and it maybe locked in place by moving the locking member over to engage it. When the locking member partly overlies both covers, they are both locked inclosed position.

It is, accordingly, the principal object of this invention to provide a carry-all vanity case of the character described, having the constructional features above set forth. These constructional features make for an extremely handy case.

Referring now to the first form of this invention and to Figs. 1 and 2, it will be seen that the carry-all vanity case I0, shown'therein, comprises a case II, a partition I2 in said case whichdivides it into two compartments [3 and |4respectiv'ely, a hinged'cover l5 for compartment I3, a hing'ed'cover I6 'for compartment I4, and a slidable locking member I1, which locks the two covers in closed position.
