- This invention relates to an adjustable machine head of the kind adapted to slide along a horizontal arm.
- An object of the invention is the provision of a construction in which the head rides freely along the arm to permit a translatory movement of the head during a working operation, or permit moving the head from one operative position to another.
- the invention also furnishes locking means to hold the head in any desired position along the horizontal arm. This is accomplished by cam-operated means which provide a firm and rigid lock yet can be 5 quickly and easily operated.
