The invention comprises the novel structure and combination of parts hereinafter described and more particularly pointed out and defined in the appended claims.
In the accompanying lustrate a preferred embodiment of this invention and in which similar reference numerals refer to similar features in the different views:
Figure 1 is a top plan view of the vanity 35 box involving this invention.
Figure 2 is an end elevational view of the vanity box partly open. 7
Figure?) is an end elevational view ofthe vanity box in completely open position.
Figure 4 is a top plan view of the vanity box in open position. p
Figure 5 is a sectional view taken upon the line V-.-V of Figure 1.
Figure 6 is a sectional view taken upon the line VI-VI of Figure 1.
As shown on the drawings:
Referring'to' the drawings which illustrate one embodiment of this invention, it will be observed that the. illustrated vanity b'ox consists of a body portion 1 and a cover 2 which are hinged together as indicated at 3. The bodyportion and thecover are substantially of rectangular formation.
A cosmetic holding tray 4 is normally retained in the body portion of the box. This tray is pivot-ally connected at each end to a pair ofparallel links 5 which in turn are pivotallv connected at their lower ends to metal clips 6 which are attached to the ends of the "box. A pair of slotted links 7 are pivotally connected to the cover at one end and their slotted ends engage pivotpins 8 extending from the ends of the tray.
