IMPROVEMENT IN COMBINED SHIRT-BOSOMS AND SUSPENDERS.

To all whom t may concern:

Be it known that I, IeNAz PRINZ, of New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented' a new and Improved Shirt- Bosom with Suspenders Combined, of which the following is a specification:

The nature of my invention consists in the arrangement of suitable bands on each side of the shirt-bosom,in combination with suitable elongations on the back of the yoke, and attaching to said bands and elongation the suspender-straps, either by means of buttons or otherwise.

In the accompanying drawing, Figure I represents a front view, and Fig. II a back view, of a shirt-bosom with Suspenders combined, embodying my invention.

A is the shirt-bosom, made in the usual way, either open in front or at back, as may be desired. To each side of this bosom a band, B, is attached, connecting at the top with the yoke D. The yoke D has on the back two elongations, E. lo the bottom or lower ends of the bands B suspender-straps C C are fastened, either by means of buttons fastening in suitable loops in said bands, as represented in the drawing, or by' any other suitable means, whereby the front part of the pantaloons is held up and supported. One of the straps on each side may be passed through loops n, attached to the lower part of the bosom to stretch the same apart, and, at the same time, hold the same down. To the lower ends of the elongations E the suspender-straps F are fastened in a similar manner, to hold up and support the back part of the pantaloons.

By this combination of the Suspenders With the shirt-bosom the pressure on the shoulders by the use of the usual Suspenders is considerably reduced, as the same is more evenly distributed by this arrangement, and, at the same time, the bosom7 will always be kept straight and stretched in any position of the body.

Whenever a bosom is soiled the suspenderstraps can easily be removed and attached to a clean bosom. i

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

As a new article of manufacture, a shirt-- bosom7 A, provided with side bands B B and l elongations E at the back of the yoke, in combination with suspender-straps O and F, all constructed and arranged substantially in the manner and for the purpose set forth.
