IMPROVEMENT IN ENVELOPES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 143,136, dated September 23, 1873; application filed August 23, 1873.
To all whom t may concern Be it known that I, Leurs GIEBEIGH, of Ottumwa, in the county of `VVapello and State of Iowa, have invented a new and valuable Improvement in Envelopes; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exa-ct description of the construction and operation of the same, reference being had to the annexed drawings making a part of this specification, and to the letters and figures of reference marked thereon.
Figure l of the drawings is a representation of my envelope closed. Fig. 2 is a view of my envelope, showing the form.
My invention consists in the construction and novel arrangement of an envelope, whereby the contents of the same will be more secure than in the ordinary envelopes, as will be hereinafter more fully set forth. a

What I claim as new, anddesire to secure by Letters Patent, is-.
An envelope formed of the usual main part A and four main iiaps, B, B, C, and D, and provided with the flaps a and f f, as shown and described, and for the purposes herein set forth.
