Be it known that I, CARL 8. Casrnnsoiv, a citizen .ot the United States, residing at New liritain, in the county et Hartiordyand State oil Connecticut7 have invented a new and nsetul Combination Drawbolt and Lock, ot' whichthe following is a specification. i i
A The` present inventionfrelates to iinprovements in locks, and ,is more particularly directed to that type ot' lockadapted to be used on 'suit casesfand wardrobe trunks.
.a lo'cking' device in cooperative relation with a complementary meanslfor preventing openingol' the trunk or vany closure to which the device may be applied, the `complenuentary means being furtheradapted to automaticall;v draw the usual top and ybottom plates oit' the' lock ytogether as the lock lcasing is :Forcedinto place.` i n The invention y will be i best understood .troni a consideration et the Vfollowing detailed description taken iu connection with the accompanying drawing forming part of this speciiication, with the understanding. howevm that the invention `is not confined .to am7 strict conformity with the showing in the drawingabut may be changed and modified so long as `such changes and modifications inark no material departure :from the salient features 'of the invention as expressed in the appended claims. Y
