Be it knownlthat I, EDWARD H. A NsHEnM, a citizen of the United States, `residing at Cambridge, in the county of Middlesex and State of Massachusetts, have invented new and useful Im rovements in Combination Cigarette and atch Containers', of which the following is a specification.

- This invention relates to containers espe#4 cially adapted for containing` matches, cigarettes and the like, and hasfor its' object to provide an inexpensive, compact container having a magazine for cigarettes and the like and a separate container for matches, provision being made whereby the cigarettes may be inserted or removed, one

at a time, without interfering with the others contained therein, while the matches may be removed .without interfering in the leastv with the cigarettesl contained therein, said device beingvery strong andl durable so as toybe carried in the pocket without danger of breaking or injuring the cigarettes.
