LJOBN Bren, of Oivego, in the county of Tioga and Stute vof'New Yoi-k, have invented an Attachment tothe Frontsv of Furnaces to facilitate stirring lires in or raking out the same', and the following is a specification thereof'.
My imention consists in providing a. support for long pokers, scrapers, 'andimplements for stirring tires in furnaces, such .support to be attached to the fronts l of furnaces at the doors, and-over which irons may be carried to res in the back side-of deep furnaes,' and also prevents the necessity of going close to the fire for this purpose.
