A device for determination of mechanical stresses in ferromagnetic constructions comprises a magneto-elastic sensor with open magnetic conductor, excitation winding on magnetic conductor, direct current power supply source, flux-sensitive transducer of magnetic field, smoothing filter, time relay with contact group and two control circuits, measuring and signaling block connected to pair of contacts of time relay contact group. An open magnetic conductor of magneto-elastic transducer is used as additional flux-sensitive transducer of magnetic field, each of pole tips of that one is provided with signal winding and arranged with through openings where two additional excitation windings in each are placed. Those windings are connected to additional input of measuring and alarm module.
