Пристрій (1) для намотування штаби (3), зокрема металевої штаби, зі змінюваною товщиною штаби, в рулон (2), забезпечений системою, призначеною для введення деформованого матеріалу на намотувану штабу (3), який характеризується тим, що система включає в себе засоби (11, 22) для одержання піддатливого, зокрема еластичного, матеріалу або само розширюваного, або спінюваного матеріалу і для введення його в рулон (2). Винахід стосується також відповідного способу.
