Abstract
本發明之課題在於提供一種紙筒用原紙,該紙筒用原紙係用以製造對環境造成的負荷小且耐水性優異之紙筒。本發明之課題解決手段係提供一種紙筒用原紙,該紙筒用原紙係具有3層以上5層以下的紙層,整體的基重為250g/m2以上,前述紙層中之最內層與最外層的基重為25g/m2以上75g/m2以下。
Description
本發明係關於紙筒用原紙及由該紙筒用原紙所構成之紙筒,尤其是耐水性優異之紙筒。
塑膠由於便宜且容易成形,所以被廣泛地使用作為各種製品的材料,一年當中有3億噸以上的塑膠製品被生產。
雖然大部分的塑膠製品被適當地處置,但其中一部分因不當管理或非法棄置而作為垃圾流出至環境中,最終到達海洋。流出至海洋中之塑膠垃圾的量據推測係達到一年800萬噸以上。由於此等塑膠垃圾的大部分為非生物分解性,所以其大部分係累積於海洋中,預測在2050年時海洋中的塑膠總量將高於魚類的總量(重量基準)。
目前已開始採取用以防止因塑膠垃圾造成之環境破壞的行動,並要求以對環境造成的負荷小的材料來取代塑膠製即用即棄型製品。當中,就塑膠製的吸管而言,每1天於美國係消耗5億根,全球係消耗10億根以上,也有海鳥或海龜因誤食而死亡的例子之報告,並且環保團體等已開始從事呼籲禁用塑膠製吸管之運動。
作為對環境造成的負荷小之塑膠製吸管的替代材料,生物分解性塑膠以及紙類乃受到矚目。
例如於專利文獻1、2中,係提出一種紙製的吸管。但是,為了將耐水性差的紙作成吸管,於專利文獻1中係將熱塑性樹脂塗佈於紙材,於專利文獻2中係將聚乙烯膜或鋁箔貼著於紙基材的內外兩面。

本發明之課題在於提供一種紙筒用原紙,該紙筒用原紙係用以製造對環境造成的負荷小且耐水性優異之紙筒。
用以解決本發明課題之手段係如以下所述。
1.一種紙筒用原紙,該紙筒用原紙:具有3層以上5層以下的紙層,整體的基重為250g/m2以上,前述紙層中之最內層與最外層的基重為25g/m2以上75g/m2以下。
2.一種紙筒用原紙,該紙筒用原紙: 具有3層以上5層以下的紙層,整體的基重為200g/m2以上,前述紙層中之最外層的基重為25g/m2以上75g/m2以下。
3.如1.或2.所述之紙筒用原紙,其中,前述紙層是由水溶性或水分散性的接著劑所接著。
4.如1.至3.中任一項所述之紙筒用原紙,其中,前述接著劑為聚乙烯醇系接著劑。
5.如1.至3.中任一項所述之紙筒用原紙,其中,前述接著劑為丙烯酸系接著劑。
6.如3.至5.中任一項所述之紙筒用原紙,其中,前述紙層是由生物分解性接著劑所接著。
7.一種紙筒,該紙筒係由1.至6.中任一項所述之紙筒用原紙所構成。
8.如7.所述之紙筒,其中,該紙筒直徑為3mm以上20mm以下。
以下,於本說明書中,亦將1.之紙筒用原紙稱為第一原紙,將2.紙筒用原紙稱為第二原紙,而且亦將第一原紙與第二原紙合稱為原紙或紙筒用原紙。
本發明之紙筒用原紙是以紙為主體,對環境造成的負荷小。此外,本發明之紙筒用原紙雖以紙為主體,但是耐水性優異,可適合利用作為與水接觸之用途中所使用之紙筒。在使用水溶性或水分散性的接著劑時,可降低製造時對環境造成的負荷,亦可適合利用在例如吸管般與嘴接 觸的紙筒。再者,藉由使用生物分解性接著劑,即使流出於環境中,因為整體會被生物分解,所以可將對環境造成之不良影響降到極低。
〈紙筒用原紙〉
以下說明本發明的詳細內容。
‧第一原紙
本發明之第一原紙係具有3層以上5層以下的紙層,整體的基重為250g/m2以上,紙層中之最內層與最外層的基重為25g/m2以上75g/m2以下。
本發明之第一原紙具有3層以上5層以下的紙層。紙層的數目愈少則耐水性愈優異,但會變得不易捲成直徑小的紙筒而使捲起加工性降低。因此,紙層數目宜因應耐水性與捲起加工性來適當地調整。
本發明之第一原紙之整體的基重為250g/m2以上,此基重較佳為450g/m2以下,更佳為280g/m2以上420g/m2以下,又更佳為300g/m2以上400g/m2以下。整體的基重若未達250g/m2,則於浸水時容易崩壞。此外,在整體的基重大於450g/m2時,有變得不易捲成紙筒之情形,而且有於捲起後端部變得容易剝離之情形。
本發明之第一原紙具有3層以上5層以下的紙層,此紙層中之最內層與最外層的基重為25g/m2以上75g/m2以下。藉由將紙層之最內層與最外層的基重設為25g/m2以上75g/m2以下,可兼顧耐水性與捲起加工性。此外,藉由將最外層的基重設為上述範圍,可降低藉由螺旋繞捲來 形成紙筒時之重疊部分的階差,而形成更平滑的紙筒。在最內層與最外層的基重為未達25g/m2時,會有於紙筒製造時變得容易發生斷紙,捲起加工性變差之情形。而且,尤其於浸水時會變得容易因衝擊等而破裂。另一方面,在最內層與最外層的基重大於75g/m2時,會變得不易捲成紙筒,尤其在直徑小的情況下會有捲起加工性差之情形。此外,尤其於浸水時會變得容易從端部開始剝離。在此,於本說明書中所謂的最內層及最外層,分別意指在作成紙筒時位於最內側之層以及位於最外側之層。各層的基重、厚度可為相同或相異。
‧第二原紙
本發明之第二原紙係具有3層以上5層以下的紙層,整體的基重為200g/m2以上,紙層中之最外層的基重為25g/m2以上75g/m2以下。
本發明之第二原紙具有3層以上5層以下的紙層。紙層數目愈少則耐水性愈優異,但會變得不易捲成直徑小的紙筒而使捲起加工性降低。因此,紙層數目宜因應耐水性與捲起加工性來適當地調整。
本發明之第二原紙之整體的基重為200g/m2以上,此基重較佳為450g/m2以下,更佳為220g/m2以上420g/m2以下,又更佳為250g/m2以上400g/m2以下。當整體的基重未達200g/m2,則於浸水時會變得容易崩壞。此外,當整體的基重大於450g/m2,則會變得不易捲成紙筒,而且有於捲起後端部變得容易剝離之情形。
本發明之第二原紙具有3層以上5層以下的紙層,此紙層中之最外層的基重為25g/m2以上75g/m2以下。藉由將紙層之最外層的基重設為25g/m2以上75g/m2以下,可兼顧耐水性與捲起加工性,而且可以降 低藉由螺旋繞捲來形成紙筒時之重疊部分的階差,而形成更平滑的紙筒。當最外層的基重未達25g/m2,會有於紙筒製造時容易發生斷紙,捲起加工性變差之情形。而且,尤其於浸水時容易因衝擊等而破裂。另一方面,當最外層的基重大於75g/m2,則會有變得不易捲成紙筒,捲起加工性變差之情形。而且,尤其於浸水時會變得容易從端部開始剝離。此外,於本發明之第二原紙中,最內層的基重較佳係超過75g/m2,更佳為80g/m2以上。各層的基重、厚度可為相同或相異。
〈紙層〉
於本發明中,紙層是由紙漿、填料、各種輔助劑等所構成之層。在將本發明之紙筒用原紙使用作為吸管的原紙之情形下,較佳係使用被認可作為食品添加物或是已取得FDA認證等符合食品安全性者。
紙漿可以是將一般所知的紙漿適當地調配而使用,前述一般所知的紙漿為:針葉樹的漂白牛皮紙漿(NBKP:Nadelholz Bleached Kraft Pulp)、未漂白牛皮紙漿(NUKP:Nadelholz Unbleached Kraft Pulp),闊葉樹的漂白牛皮紙漿(LBKP:Laubholz Bleached Kraft Pulp)、未漂白牛皮紙漿(LUKP:Laubholz Unbleached Kraft Pulp),亞硫酸鹽紙漿(SP:Sulfite Pulp)等木材的化學紙漿;碎木紙漿(GP:Ground Pulp)、精製碎木紙漿(RGP:Refiner Ground Pulp)、磨石碎木紙漿(SGP:Stone Ground Pulp)、化學碎木紙漿(CGP:Chemi-Ground Pulp)、半化學紙漿(SCP:Semichemical Pulp)、熱磨機械漿(TMP:Thermo-Mechanical Pulp)、化學熱磨機械漿(CTMP:Chemi-Thermo-Mechanical Pulp)等木材的機械紙漿;從洋麻 (kenaf)、蔗渣(bagasse)、竹、麻、稻桿等所得到之非木材紙漿;以舊紙為原料並藉由脫墨步驟去除了舊紙所含印墨而得之舊紙紙漿等。
但是,在將本發明之紙筒用原紙使用作為吸管的原紙之情形下,較佳為不易產生雜質混入之LBKP、NBKP等化學紙漿,而且以舊紙紙漿的調配量少者為佳。具體而言,較佳為化學紙漿的調配量係80%以上,特佳為化學紙漿的調配量係100%。
填料可使用:滑石、高嶺土、煅燒高嶺土、黏土、重質碳酸鈣、輕質碳酸鈣、白碳、沸石、碳酸鎂、碳酸鋇、二氧化鈦、氧化鋅、氧化矽、非晶質二氧化矽、氫氧化鋁、氫氧化鈣、氫氧化鎂、氫氧化鋅、硫酸鋇、硫酸鈣等無機填料;脲醛樹脂、聚苯乙烯樹脂、酚樹脂、微小中空粒子等有機填料;等一般所知的填料。又,於本發明中,紙層亦可不使用填料,較佳係不使用填料。
各種輔助劑可例示:松香、烷基烯酮二聚物(AKD:Alkyl-Ketene Dimer)、烯基琥珀酸酐(ASA:Alkenyl Succinic Anhydride)等上漿劑(sizing agent)、聚丙烯醯胺系高分子、聚乙烯醇系高分子、陽離子化澱粉、各種改性澱粉、脲醛樹脂、三聚氰胺甲醛樹脂(melamine-formaldehyde resin)等乾紙強化劑;濕紙強化劑、保留助劑(retention aid)、濾水助劑(drainage aid)、凝結劑、硫酸鋁、體積膨脹劑(bulking agent)、染料、螢光增白劑、pH調整劑、消泡劑、抗紫外線劑、抗褪色劑、樹脂份控制劑(pitch controling agent)、黏泥控制劑(slime-controling agent)等,可視需要適當地選擇而使用。
於本發明中,紙層較佳係含有濕紙強化劑。濕紙強化劑可使用:聚醯胺多胺環氧氯丙烷樹脂、多胺環氧氯丙烷樹脂、聚醯胺環氧氯丙烷樹脂、聚乙烯胺樹脂、聚乙烯亞胺樹脂等。其中尤佳為聚醯胺多胺環氧氯丙烷樹脂。
在製造步驟中,相對於全部紙漿,較佳為於0.1質量%以上1.5質量%以下之間添加濕紙強化劑,更佳為於0.5質量%以上1.0質量%以下之間添加濕紙強化劑。
濕紙強化劑的量可藉由依凱氏測氮法(Kjeldahl Method)、能量分散型X射線分析等進行之元素分析來定量。於本發明中,紙層所含有之濕紙強化劑的量係意指將使用凱氏測氮法所定量之氮元素設為全部來自聚醯胺多胺環氧氯丙烷樹脂之情形下的換算值。紙層較佳係含有相對於紙漿全部量為0.05質量%以上0.70質量%以下的濕紙強化劑。
〈接著劑〉
接著劑係將相鄰接之紙層彼此貼合者。接著劑可無特別限制地使用,惟水溶性或水分散性的接著劑因為製造時的環境負荷小,而且即使是如吸管般與嘴接觸之紙筒亦可安心地使用,故為較佳者。水溶性接著劑、水分散性接著劑例如可列舉出:聚乙烯醇系、聚環氧乙烷系、聚丙烯醯胺系、澱粉系、明膠、酪蛋白、醚系纖維素、酚樹脂系、水玻璃等水溶性接著劑;丙烯酸系、乙酸乙烯酯系、乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物系、苯乙烯-丁二烯共聚物系、胺酯(urethane)系、α-烯烴系等水分散性接著劑。於本發明中,水溶性接著劑較佳係聚乙烯醇系接著劑。此外,水分散性接著劑較佳係使用丙烯酸系接著劑。再者,從對環境的觀點來看,以接著劑屬於生物分解性者為佳。具體 而言,較佳是由澱粉系、聚乙烯醇(PVA:polyvinyl alcohol)系、聚乳酸(PLA:polylactic acid)系、乙酸纖維素系、聚丁烯琥珀酸酯(PBS:polybutylene succinate)系、聚丁烯琥珀酸己二酸酯(PBSA:polybutylene succinate adipate)系等具有生物分解性之樹脂所構成,且為水溶性或水分散性之接著劑。
在將本發明之紙筒用原紙使用作為吸管的原紙之情形下,較佳係使用被認可作為食品添加物或是已取得FDA認證者等符合食品安全性之接著劑。
〈抄紙、接著方法〉
紙層的製造(抄紙)方法、抄紙機的型式並無特別限定,可選擇長網抄紙機、雙網抄紙機、圓網抄紙機、夾網成形機(gap former)、混合成形機(疊網成形機(on-top former))等一般所知的製造(抄紙)方法、抄紙機。
此外,抄紙時的pH可為酸性區域(酸性抄紙)、偽中性區域(偽中性抄紙)、中性區域(中性抄紙)、鹼性區域(鹼性抄紙)中任一種,亦可以在酸性區域進行抄紙後,於紙層的表面塗佈鹼性藥劑。
接著紙層之方法並無特別限定,可列舉出:在將經抄紙及乾燥後之紙層裁切為既定寬度之後予以接著之方法;以及,將經抄紙之紙層以濕潤狀態接著,並在乾燥後進行裁切之方法等。
〈紙筒〉
可從本發明之紙筒用原紙來製造紙筒。紙筒的製造方法並無特別限制,可藉由螺旋繞捲、平捲等一般所知的方法來製造,惟因螺旋繞捲可進行連續生產,故為較佳。
紙筒的直徑並無特別限制,可因應其用途而設為各種直徑。例如,因為本發明之紙筒的耐水性優異,所以可適合地將直徑3mm以上20mm以下的紙筒利用作為紙製吸管,可更適合地利用直徑5mm以上15mm以下者。又,本發明之紙筒的直徑係意指紙筒的外徑。
在將本發明之紙筒使用作為紙製吸管之情形下,藉由下述實施例記載之方法所測得的耐水性較佳為10分鐘以上,更佳為15分鐘以上,又更佳為20分鐘以上。
以下藉由實施例來說明本發明,但本發明並不僅限定於下述實施例。
「實施例1」
以於5層的紙層(基重40/40/110/40/40,單位皆為g/m2,以下相同。此外,各紙層含有濕紙強化劑)之各層間以固形份計係成為3g/m2之方式來塗佈澱粉系接著劑(日本食品化工業公司製,商品名稱:Corn Starch Y,無耐水性)的10%水溶液而接著該5層的紙層,以製造出整體的基重為282g/m2之原紙。
「實施例2」
除了是接著4層的紙層(基重40/110/110/40,含有濕紙強化劑)之外,其他係與實施例1相同,製造出整體的基重為309g/m2之原紙。
「實施例3」
除了將澱粉系接著劑的10%水溶液改為PVA系接著劑(Kuraray公司製,商品名稱:Exceval HR3010,具耐水性)的10%水溶液之外,其他係與實施例1相同,而製造出整體的基重為282g/m2之原紙。
「實施例4」
除了將澱粉系接著劑的10%水溶液改為PVA系接著劑(Kuraray公司製,商品名稱:Exceval HR3010,具耐水性)的10%水溶液之外,其他係與實施例2相同,而製造出整體的基重為309g/m2之原紙。
「實施例5」
除了將澱粉系接著劑的10%水溶液改為水分散性丙烯酸系接著劑(具耐水性)的10%水分散液之外,其他係與實施例2相同,而製造出整體的基重為309g/m2之原紙。
「實施例6」
以於3層的紙層(基重110/110/40,含有濕紙強化劑)之各層間以固形份計係成為3g/m2之方式來塗佈澱粉系接著劑(日本食品化工業公司製,商品名稱:Corn Starch Y,無耐水性)的10%水溶液而接著該3層的紙層,以製造出整體的基重為266g/m2之原紙。
「實施例7」
除了將澱粉系接著劑的10%水溶液改為PVA系接著劑(Kuraray公司製,商品名稱:Exceval HR3010,具耐水性)的10%水溶液之外,其他係與實施例6相同,而製造出整體的基重為266g/m2之原紙。
「實施例8」
除了是接著3層的紙層(基重90/90/40,含有濕紙強化劑)之外,其他係與實施例7相同,而製造出整體的基重為226g/m2之原紙。
「比較例1」
除了是接著基重為150g/m2之2層的紙層(無濕紙強化劑)之外,其他係與實施例1相同,而製造出整體的基重為303g/m2之原紙。
「比較例2」
除了是接著基重為110g/m2之3層的紙層(含有濕紙強化劑)之外,其他係與實施例1相同,而製造出整體的基重為336g/m2之原紙。
「比較例3」
除了是接著基重為110g/m2之3層的紙層(無濕紙強化劑)之外,其他係與實施例1相同,而製造出整體的基重為336g/m2之原紙。
「比較例4」
除了是接著基重為60g/m2之4層的紙層(無濕紙強化劑)之外,其他係與實施例1相同,而製造出整體的基重為249g/m2之原紙。
「比較例5」
除了是接著基重為40g/m2之7層的紙層(含有濕紙強化劑)之外,其他係與實施例1相同,而製造出整體的基重為298g/m2之原紙。
「比較例6」
除了是接著基重為40g/m2之7層的紙層(無濕紙強化劑)之外,其他係與實施例1相同,而製造出整體的基重為298g/m2之原紙。
「比較例7」
除了是接著基重為25g/m2之10層的紙層(無濕紙強化劑)之外,其他係與實施例1相同,而製造出整體的基重為277g/m2之原紙。
由上述所得到之各原紙,以螺旋繞捲來製造直徑8mm、長180mm的紙筒,並進行下述評估。結果如第1表所示。又,紙層之基重的最內層側、最外層側係意指捲成紙筒時之內側、外側。
〈耐水性〉
將20℃的水600ml裝入直徑100mm、高110mm的玻璃燒杯。於所製作之紙筒之一端部裝設300g的砝碼,並使未裝設砝碼之另一端部朝下並放入燒杯而浸泡在水中,計測紙筒因荷重而彎折為止之時間。
〈端部的剝離〉
將20℃的水600ml裝入直徑100mm、高110mm的玻璃燒杯。使所製作之紙筒之一端部浸泡在水中30秒後取出,並以目視來評估剝離程度。

由比較例可確認到在紙層的片數增多時,耐水性有降低之傾向。此外,尤其在紙層之最外層的基重較大時,於浸水時端部容易產生剝離。
由本發明之實施例1至8的紙筒用原紙,可製造出不產生端部的剝離且耐水性優異之紙筒。尤其,由使用耐水性的接著劑之實施例3、4、5、7、8的紙筒用原紙,可製造出耐水性係極為優異之23分鐘至33分鐘,而且能夠適合使用作為紙製吸管之紙筒。

- 一種紙筒,其係外徑為3mm以上20mm以下之紙筒,前述紙筒係由紙筒用原紙所構成;前述紙筒用原紙係具有3層以上5層以下的紙層,整體的基重為250g/m2以上;前述紙層中之最內層與最外層的基重為25g/m2以上75g/m2以下;前述紙層是由水溶性或水分散性的接著劑所接著。
- 一種紙筒,其係外徑為3mm以上20mm以下之紙筒,前述紙筒係由紙筒用原紙所構成;前述紙筒用原紙係具有3層以上5層以下的紙層,整體的基重為200g/m2以上;前述紙層中之最外層的基重為25g/m2以上75g/m2以下;前述紙層是由水溶性或水分散性的接著劑所接著。
- 如申請專利範圍第1或2項所述之紙筒,其中,前述接著劑為聚乙烯醇系接著劑。
- 如申請專利範圍第1或2項所述之紙筒,其中,前述接著劑為丙烯酸系接著劑。
- 如申請專利範圍第1或2項所述之紙筒,其中,前述紙層是由生物分解性接著劑所接著。
