本揭露關於分散劑,更特別關於其組成。
金屬微粉分散因為微粉內聚力強易聚集且密度高易沉降,導致金屬微粉的分散安定難度最高。尤其,金屬微粉若作為導電漿料,金屬微粉、有機分散劑、添加劑的用量將影響導電塗層的導電度。更甚者,若金屬微粉作為低黏度(4~20cps,25℃)的噴印墨水,如何使金屬微粉分散性優且克服重力沉降而有高分散穩定性同時亦能具備高的導電性,其中分散劑扮演關鍵的角色。然而,目前並無針對導電金屬粉體分散用之分散劑技術與產品,而且針對微米級到奈米級的各種尺寸金屬微粉其所需的分散劑分子大小皆不同。
綜上所述,目前亟需針對金屬微粉大小量身訂做之分散劑。

下。值得注意的是,下述合成方式僅用以說明而非侷限本揭露。本技術領域中具有通常知識者自可依其實驗室設備與藥品商採用合宜之步驟,合成式1或式2所示之聚合物。首先,取環氧樹脂置於反應瓶中,攪拌並加熱至110℃至160℃。若溫度過高,則環氧樹脂易凝結於反應瓶壁上,導致環氧樹脂比例偏離原始配製的比例。若溫度過低,則環氧樹脂無法融熔成液態,導致開環反應不易進行,聚合度會過低且分子量不均勻。接著將R2-NH2與R3-NH2緩緩加入反應瓶中,待完全加入後再加熱至110℃至160℃反應1至6小時,控制環氧樹脂:(R2-NH2+R3-NH2)之當量比值小於1,即可得聚合物。若反應溫度過高及/或反應時間過長,則聚合物顏色會變成深褐色(產生質變)。若反應溫度過低及/或反應時間過短,則不易完全反應,導致分子量過低。上述反應如式4所示。在式3中,R1、R2、R3、m與n定義同前述,且m與n之數值取決於R2-NH2與R3-NH2之用量。
接著將環酸酐加入反應瓶中,於110至160℃反應10至20小時,即可得式1與式2之產物。若反應溫度過高及/或反應時間過長,則可能產生分子間交聯或分子內交聯而得到膠化產物。若反應溫度過低及/或反應時間過短,則不易完全反應並殘留環酸酐。上述反應如式5所示。在式5中,R1、R2、R3、R4、m、與n定義同前述。
在一實施例中,環氧樹脂可為1,6-己二醇環氧樹脂、雙酚A環氧樹脂、或聚乙二醇二缩水甘油醚。在一實施例中,R1係己基且R2係辛基。在一實施例中,R3-NH2為Jeffamine
L100,即X1係CH3,X2係H,X3係CH3,X4係H,X5係H,X6係H,p=1,q=3,且r=19。在一實施例中,R3-NH2為Jeffamine L200,即X1係CH3,X2係H,X3係CH3,X4係H,X5係H,X6係H,p=1,q=2,且r=42。在一實施例中,R3-NH2為Jeffamine L300,即X1係CH3,X2係H,X3係CH3,X4係H,X5係H,X6係H,p=1,q=8,且r=58。在一實施例中,m係1至50之整數;且n係1至50之整數。
長鏈乙二醇及異丙二醇共聚物的一級胺分子R3-NH2作為聚合物之溶媒端,其分子長度取決於乙二醇及異丙二醇之聚合度。溶媒端間的距離可由環氧樹脂之分子量控制。聚合物中的酸基可作為錨釘(anchoring)基團,對金屬有螯合作用。視金屬微粉大小,可選擇適當的溶媒端分子長度與溶媒端間距,以降低穩定分散金屬微粉所需的分散劑用量,可進一步提高分散液形成之金屬膜的導電度。可以理解的是,若金屬微粉在分散液中的分散不佳,其將聚集成球且無法均勻成膜於基材表面,即降低形成之金屬膜導電度。在一實施例中,式1與式2之聚合物為無規則共聚物。
在一實施例中,可混合100重量份之粉體、1至80重量份之分散劑(式1及/或式2所示之聚合物)、以及100至900重量份之溶劑,以形成分散液。若分散劑的用量過高,則分散液導電度下降。若分散劑的用量過低,則分散液不穩定,導電微粒易沉降。在一實施例中,粉體包括金屬、金屬氧化物、無機顏料、或有機顏料。金屬可為銀、銅、金、鋁、鉑。金屬氧化物可為二氧化鈦、氧化鐵、氧化鋅、氧化鋁、或氧化鋯。無機顏料可為黄色(Yellow)無機顏料如鎘黃(PY35,C.I.77205,
CAS#12237-67-1)、鈦鎳黃(PY53,C.I.77788,CAS#8007-18-9)、鐠鋯黄(PY159,C.I.77997,CAS#68187-15-5)、鉻鈦黃(PY162,C.I.77896,CAS#68611-42-7;PY163,C.I.77897,CAS#68186-92-5)、或鉍黄(PY184,C.I.771740,CAS#14059-33-7)。洋紅色(Magenta)無機顏料可為鐵紅(PR101,C.I.77491,CAS#1317-60-8)、鎘紅(PR108,C.I.77202,CAS#58339-34-7)、鉛鉻紅(PR104,C.I.77605,CAS#12656-85-8;PR105,C.I.77578,CAS#1314-41-6)或鐵鋯紅(PR232,C.I.77996,CAS# 68412-79-3)。青色(Cyan)無機顏料可為鈷藍(PB28,C.I.77364,CAS#68187-40-6)或鈷鉻藍(PB36,C.I.77343,CAS#68187-11-1)。黑色(Black)無機顏料可為錳鐵黑(PBK26,C.I.77494,CAS# 68186-94-7;PBK33,C.I.77537,CAS#75864-23-2)、鈷鐵鉻黑(PBK27,C.I.77502,CAS#68186-97-0)、銅鉻黑(PBK28,C.I.77428,CAS#68186-91-4)、鉻鐵黑(PBK30,C.I.77504,CAS#71631-15-7)或鈦黑(PBK35,C.I.77890,CAS#70248-09-8)。白色(White)無機顏料可為鈦白(PW6,C.I.77891,CAS#13463-67-7)、鋯白(PW12,C.I.77990,CAS#1314-23-4)、或鋅白(PW4,C.I.77947,CAS#1314-13-2)。橘色(Orange)無機顏料可為鎘橘(PO20,C.I.77199,CAS#12656-57-4)或橘鉻黃(PO21,C.I.77601,CAS#1344-38-3)。綠色(Green)無機顏料可為鉻綠(PG17,C.I.77288,CAS#1308-38-9)、鈷綠(PG19,C.I.77335,CAS#8011-87-8)、鈷鉻綠(PG26,C.I.77344,CAS#68187-49-5)、
或鈷鈦綠(PG50,C.I.77377,CAS#68186-85-6)。在一實施例中,有機顏料係Blue5200或Black9600(購自貝斯特精密化學)。溶劑可為水、醚醇類如二乙二醇二乙醚、二乙二醇二甲醚、丙二醇甲醚醋酸酯、二乙二醇丁醚醋酸酯、乙二醇丁醚、四乙二醇二甲醚、或上述之組合。在一實施例中,粉體粒徑介於20奈米至10微米之間。
在一實施例中,上述分散液中的粉體為金屬如銀。前述粉體粒徑可介於20奈米至10微米之間,例如介於20奈米至100奈米之間。將分散液施加至基板上後,以60℃至180℃烘烤基板上的分散液,以去除溶劑並形成導電圖案。上述分散液即所謂的導電膠。由於本揭露之分散劑不會大幅影響最後形成之導電圖案的導電性,因此不需高溫製程以進一步去除分散劑。如此一來,上述分散液可施加至耐熱性較差之基板如塑膠,以進一步應用於可撓性電子元件。
在一實施例中,上述分散液中的粉體為無機顏料如玻璃顏料。玻璃顏料中,黑色(Black)無機顏料可為銅鉻黑(CAS#68186-91-4)、洋紅色(Magenta)無機顏料可為鎘紅(CAS#58339-34-7)、黄色(Yellow)無機顏料可為鎘黃(CAS#8007-18-9)、青色(Cyan)無機顏料可為鈷藍(CAS#68187-40-6)、白色(White)無機顏料可為鈦白(CAS#13463-67-7)。將分散液施加至基板上後,以40℃至90℃烘烤基板上的分散液,以去除溶劑形成圖案。
在一實施例中,上述分散液中的粉體為有機顏料如購自貝斯特化學之Blue5200或Black9600。將分散液施加至
基板上後,以40℃至90℃烘烤基板上的分散液,以去除溶劑形成圖案。
為了讓本揭露之上述和其他目的、特徵、和優點能更明顯易懂,下文特舉數實施例作詳細說明如下:
使用氮氣沖刷反應瓶,將65.13克(32.56毫莫耳)之Jeffamine® L-200(購自HUNTSMAN)、10克(43.42毫莫耳)之1,6-己二醇環氧樹脂(購自長春化工)、4.21克(32.56毫莫耳)之辛胺(購自Aldrich)置於反應瓶中,機械攪拌並升溫到140℃後反應4小時。上述反應如式6所示。
之後降溫到80℃,再加入13.04克(130.26毫莫耳)之環丁二酸酐,在80℃反應12小時後升溫到130℃再反應3小時後,即得到梳狀(comb-like)聚合物(產率99%,黃色液體)。上述反應物之莫耳比例如下:1,6-己二醇環氧樹脂:辛胺:
Jeffamine® L-200:環丁二酸酐=4:3:3:12。上述反應如式7所示。
經氫譜、碳譜與IR量測,相關光譜數據如下列:1H
NMR(DMSO-d 6,δ,ppm):0.84(t),1.02(d),1.08(d),1.24(d),1.46(s),2.40(s),2.44(s),3.22(s),3.31~3.68(m),4.97(d),12.03(s).13C NMR(DMSO-d 6,δ,ppm):14.1,17.4,22.2,25.6,28.9,29.3,58.2,69.8~74.4(m),173.7(C=O).IR(KBr):3539cm-1(acid O-H stretch),2910,2874cm-1(alkyl C-H stretch),1728cm-1(ester stretch),1642cm-1(C=O stretch),1106cm-1(C-O-C stretch).Mw:6100,Mn:5800。
與實施例1-1類似,差別在於R3-NH2由Jeffamine® L-200置換為Jeffamine® L-100,其結構如式8。
經氫譜、碳譜與IR量測,相關光譜數據如下列:1H NMR(DMSO-d 6,δ,ppm):0.84(t),1.02(m),1.18(d),1.22(b),1.46(s),2.40(s),2.45(s),3.23(s),3.40~3.50(m),4.97(d),12.05(s).13C NMR(DMSO-d 6,d,ppm):14.1,17.2,22.3,25.6,28.8,28.9,29.3,31.4,58.2,69.8~70.7(m),71.5,74.4,173.7(C=O).IR(KBr):3469cm-1(acid O-H stretch),2921,2870cm-1(alkyl C-H stretch),1730cm-1(ester stretch),1640cm-1(C=O stretch)),1104cm-1(C-O-C stretch)。
與實施例1-1類似,差別在於R3-NH2由Jeffamine® L-200置換為Jeffamine® L-300,其結構如式9。
經氫譜、碳譜與IR量測,相關光譜數據如下列:1H NMR(DMSO-d 6,δ,ppm):0.84(t),1.02(d),1.11(d),1.23(b),1.47(s),2.40(s),3.23(s),3.32(s),3.36~3.54(m),5.07(d),11.86(s).13C NMR(DMSO-d 6,δ,ppm):14.1,17.3,22.3,28.2,28.8,28.9,29.3,31.4,58.2,67.9,69.8~70.3(m),71.5,74.3,74.4,173.8(C=O).IR(KBr):3510cm-1(acid O-H stretch),2910,2870cm-1(alkyl C-H stretch),1730cm-1(ester stretch),1640cm-1(C=O stretch),1110cm-1(C-O-C stretch)。
與實施例1-1類似,差別在1,6-己二醇環氧樹脂:辛胺:Jeffamine® L-200:環丁二酸酐莫耳比例為1:1:1:4,其結構類似式7的產物。
與實施例1-1類似,差別在1,6-己二醇環氧樹脂:辛胺:Jeffamine® L-200:環丁二酸酐莫耳比例為3:2:2:8,其結構類似式7的產物。
與實施例1-1類似,差別在反應物無辛胺和環丁二酸酐,R3-NH2由Jeffamine® L-200置換為Jeffamine® L-300,且1,6-己二醇環氧樹脂:Jeffamine® L-300之莫耳比例為3:4,其產物結構為式10。
取不同重量比之分散劑(實施例1-1中式7之產物,梳狀聚合物)與奈米銀粉(粒徑60nm),加入二甘醇乙醚(Diethylene glycol monoethyl ether)中後以超音波分散,製備奈米銀含量為40wt%之奈米銀分散液,結果第1表。
由上述可知,實施例2-3之分散劑/銀粉之重量比(1/20)最適於分散粒徑60nm之銀粉,可同時兼顧成膜後的導電度與分散性。
分別取2重量份之市售分散劑BYK2070和實施例
1-4之產物與40重量份之粒徑60nm之奈米銀粉加入二甘醇乙醚(Diethylene glycol monoethyl ether)後以超音波分散,製備兩種奈米銀含量為40wt%之不同奈米銀分散液。將上述分散液塗佈後烘烤170℃/30分鐘形成膜厚10μm的銀膜,其導電性結果如第2表。明顯地,上述梳狀聚合物分散銀粉之效果優於市售分散劑與實施例1-4之產物,顯示分散劑要經過合適的設計才有最佳的分散效果,進而提升導電性。
取1重量份之實施例1-5之產物(梳狀聚合物)作分散劑,2重量份之水性有機藍色顏料(購自貝思特精密化學之Blue432,固含量≧25%),並以2300-2500rpm之轉速研磨上述混合物以形成分散液,其性質如第3表所示。
取1重量份之實施例1-5之產物(梳狀聚合物)作分散劑,2重量份之水性有機黑色顏料(購自貝思特精密化學之Black9600,固含量≧25%),並以2300-2500rpm之轉速研磨上述混合物以形成分散液,其性質如第3表所示。
取1重量份之實施例1-6之產物(梳狀聚合物)作分散劑,2重量份之水性有機藍色顏料(購自貝思特精密化學之Blue432,固含量≧25%),並以2300-2500rpm之轉速研磨上述
混合物以形成分散液,其性質如第3表所示。
取1重量份之實施例1-6之產物(梳狀聚合物)作分散劑,2重量份之水性有機黑色顏料(購自貝思特精密化學之Black9600,固含量≧25%),並以2300-2500rpm之轉速研磨上述混合物以形成分散液,其性質如第3表所示。由第3表可知,未與環丁二酸酐進一步反應之梳狀共聚物(實施例1-6之產物)無法有效分散所有種類的水性有機顏料。
取1重量份之實施例1-5之產物(梳狀聚合物)作分散劑,5重量份之有機溶劑型黑色顏料(購自豐彩化工,固含量=20%,溶劑為三乙二醇二甲醚),並以DAS LAU震盪機分散上述混合物(120分鐘,級數2級)以形成分散液,其性質如第4表所示。由第4表可知,梳狀聚合物可分散有機溶劑型的黑色顏料。
雖然本揭露已以數個實施例揭露如上,然其並非用以限定本揭露,任何本技術領域中具有通常知識者,在不脫離本揭露之精神和範圍內,當可作任意之更動與潤飾,因此本揭露之保護範圍當視後附之申請專利範圍所界定者為準。
Claims (9)
- 一種聚合物,具有式1或式2之結構:
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之聚合物,其中q=3,且r=19。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之聚合物,其中q=2,且r=42。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之聚合物,其中q=8,且r=58。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之聚合物,係作為粉體之分散劑。
- 一種分散液,包括:100重量份之粉體;1至80重量份之分散劑,其中該分散劑係申請專利範圍第1項所述之聚合物;以及100至900重量份之溶劑。
- 如申請專利範圍第6項所述之分散液,其中該粉體包括金屬、金屬氧化物、無機顏料、或有機顏料。
- 如申請專利範圍第6項所述之分散液,其中該溶劑包括水、二乙二醇二乙醚、二乙二醇二甲醚、丙二醇甲醚醋酸酯、二乙二醇丁醚醋酸酯、乙二醇丁醚、四乙二醇二甲醚、或上述之組合。
- 如申請專利範圍第6項所述之分散液,其中該粉體之粒徑介於20奈米至10微米之間。
