Description
本發明有關於一種電子裝置,且特別是有關於一種具有貼合結構的電子裝置及其製造方法。
光學膠(OCA,Optical Clear Adhesive)廣泛地應用在電子設備,如手機、個人數位助理(PDA)或掌上型個人電腦,作為該些電子設備內部元件間的貼合材料。
目前業界使用的光學膠有感壓膠(PSA,pressure-sensitive adhesive)、壓克力膠(acrylic)等。通常是利用光學膠本身的物理特性(即膠分子之間的拉力或分子之間相互滲透)來黏結兩個元件,如玻璃元件,但在較大的外部衝擊力下,利用光學膠本身的物理特性卻無法牢固地黏結住兩個元件。特別是目前一些電子設備存在的環境條件較差,如置於戶外的ATM取款機,因此該等電子設備需要具有較強的抗衝擊能力,但目前由光學膠貼合的電子設備的抗衝擊能力較弱,無法滿足人們對該類電子設備抗衝擊能力的需求。
故此,為了增進電子設備的抗衝擊能力,現今業界極需一種具有加強版黏結膠的電子設備,來解決上述習知技術中存在的缺失。
本發明提供一種具有貼合結構的電子裝置及其製造方法,藉由選用同時具有物理與化學黏結性的固態黏結膠,使該電子裝置具有較強的抗衝擊能力。
本發明係提供一種具有貼合結構的電子裝置,包含:一第一基板;一第二基板;以及一固態黏結層,設置於該第一基板與該第二基板之間,該固態黏結層分別與該第一基板和該第二基板形成一化學鏈結鍵而使該第一基板與該第二基板黏結在一起。
本發明係提供一種具有貼合結構的電子裝置之製造方法,包含下列步驟:設置一固態黏結層於一第一基板與一第二基板之間;以及形成一化學鏈結鍵於該固態黏結層與該第一基板之間和該固態黏結層與該第二基板之間。
採用本發明之技術生產的電子產品,由於其選用同時具有物理與化學黏結性的固態黏結膠,使該電子裝置具有較強的抗衝擊能力,同時該固態黏結膠的材料成本比傳統上使用的黏結膠的材料成本低,因而也可進一步減少生產成本。
為使熟習本發明所屬技術領域之一般技藝者能更進一步瞭解本發明,下文特列舉本發明之較佳實施例,並配合所附圖式,詳細說明本發明的構成內容及所欲達成之功效。
在圖1中所示之具有貼合結構的電子裝置包含:一第一基板12、一第二基板14及一固態黏結層16。其中,電子裝置例如是觸控裝置,則第一基板12為一觸控基板,該第一基板12包括第一表面121和第二表面122,一觸控感應元件形成於該第一基板12的第一表面121,其第二表面122則與第二基板14貼合。該觸控感應元件可為電容式觸控感應元件或電阻式觸控感應元件。在一實施例中,該電容式觸控感應元件包括垂直軸向與水準軸向之感應電極。
固態黏結層16設置於第一基板12與第二基板14之間,固態黏結層16除了本身具有黏性外,還與第一基板12及第二基板14的接觸表面發生化學反應,即固態黏結層16的氫鍵與第一基板及第二基板的氫鍵相結合形成化學鏈結鍵,進而形成黏結力,使得第一基板12與第二基板14藉由該固態黏結層16黏結在一起。
固態黏結層16為固態黏結膠,例如為聚乙烯醇縮丁醛(PVB)固態黏結膠。該固態黏結層16的拉伸強度大於或等於200kg/cm2,收縮率小於3%,這些特性使得該固態黏結層16具有良好的黏性、韌性和彈性。
當第一基板12為觸控基板時,第二基板14可以是上蓋基板,該第二基板14具有第一表面141和第二表面142,其中第一表面141與第一基板12的第二表面122貼合。在一實施例中,該第一基板12和第二基板14為玻璃基板。在另一實施例中,該電子裝置為顯示裝置,該第一基板為顯示面板,第二基板為偏光片或濾光片等光學元件。
由於該固態黏結層16不但具有良好物理性能,如良好的黏性、韌性和彈性,並且該固態黏結層16還會與第一基板12和第二基板14發生化學反應形成黏結力,使得第一基板12和第二基板14能夠牢固地黏結在一起,相較於先前技術中的電子裝置,最多能夠承受的衝擊力不超過12焦耳而言,本發明的電子裝置能夠承受更大的衝擊力,例如至少能夠承受20焦耳的衝擊力,另外,該電子產品即使受到猛烈撞擊而破碎時,固態黏結層16將會吸收大量能量,使碎片牢牢黏附在該固態黏結層16上,而不會飛散。
圖2A至2D顯示具有貼合結構的電子裝置之製造方法的連續示意圖,圖2A至2D中之組件與圖1中之組件相同者係使用相同的元件符號。
具有貼合結構的電子裝置之製造方法包含下列步驟:設置一固態黏結層16於一第一基板12與一第二基板14之間;形成一化學鏈結鍵於固態黏結層16與第一基板12之間和固態黏結層16與第二基板14之間。形成該化學鏈結鍵的製程包括加溫與加壓製程。其中,該化學鏈結鍵是以氫鍵做鏈結。
在圖2A中,準備第二基板14,在一實施例中,第二基板14放於一治具20上,該治具20用於固定第二基板14的位置,使其在貼合的時候,不會滑動。在圖2B中,置放固態黏結層16於第二基板14之上,其中,固態黏結層16係可以是聚乙烯醇縮丁醛黏結層。該固態黏結層16具有的拉伸強度大於或等於200kg/cm2且其收縮率小於3%。
在圖2C中,置放第一基板12於固態黏結層16之上,並藉由治具20定位對準與固定第一基板12、固態黏結層16及第二基板14。
在圖2D中,將固定好的第一基板12、固態黏結層16與第二基板14連同治具20一起放入一真空包裝袋22中,並藉由一真空包裝機(未圖示)進行真空包裝。
接著,進行一冷抽與熱抽製程,利用壓差將固態黏結層16與第一基板12之間及固態黏結層16與第二基板14之間的空氣排出。減壓抽真空度為650mmHg以上,冷抽溫度為25℃以下,冷抽時間為15分鐘以上,熱抽時基板表面溫度需達到70-120℃,熱抽時間為30分鐘以上。
將包裝好的第一基板12、固態黏結層16與第二基板14連同治具20一起放入一高壓爐(未圖示)中,置入高壓爐後封好高壓爐門,先升溫而使高壓爐內部溫度達到45℃,然後同時加溫加壓。升溫速度控制在5℃/分鐘,加壓速度控制在0.06MPa/分鐘。待溫度達到120-140℃,壓力達到1.0-1.5MPa時,開始保溫保壓30-60分鐘。然後保壓降溫至45℃,最後卸除高壓爐內部壓力至大氣壓,即完成高壓成型過程。加壓、卸壓時的溫度必須嚴格控制好,以避免基板邊緣部產生氣泡。因此,第一基板12、固態黏結層16與第二基板14藉由高壓爐進行加壓與加溫,以形成化學鏈結鍵於固態黏結層16與第一基板12之間和固態黏結層16與第二基板14之間,例如玻璃之基板中的SIOH和該黏結層的COH基之間的氫鍵形成化學鏈結鍵。
冷卻在高壓爐中之第一基板12、固態黏結層16與第二基板14,而從高壓爐中取出包裝好的第一基板12、固態黏結層16、第二基板14與治具20。
接著,去除包裝第一基板12、固態黏結層16、第二基板14與治具20之真空包裝袋22,並移除治具20,且例如用刀片清除第一基板12及第二基板14的邊緣多餘的固態黏結層16以完成貼合程序。
在傳統技術中,一般利用光學膠本身的物理特性來黏結兩個元件,但在較大的外部衝擊力下,利用光學膠本身的物理特性係無法牢固地黏結住兩個元件,且能夠承受的抗衝擊力非常有限,而本發明選用同時具有物理與化學黏結性的固態黏結膠,使電子裝置具有較強的黏結力及抗衝擊能力。
與習知的固態光學膠相比較,例如,感壓膠(PSA),其是藉由壓力使玻璃基板和固態光學膠產生變形從而將玻璃基板與固態膠之間的氣泡擠出,但對於一些加厚的大尺寸玻璃基板在貼合時卻不易產生變形,導致氣泡無法完全擠出,而導致產品良率不高;而本發明採用冷抽熱抽及加溫加壓等技術貼合玻璃,不需要玻璃基板變形就可將氣泡排出,因而本發明可適於貼合大小尺寸的玻璃基板,例如,其可貼合23英吋的產品。
再者,本發明採用的PVB膠的材料成本低,僅為目前觸控螢幕領域之貼合光學膠材料成本的二十分之一,故本發明可降低產品的製造成本。
下面對本發明所採用之技術生產的電子產品(如觸控面板)進行抗衝擊能力測試,其中,樣品1為傳統觸控面板,樣品2為採用本發明技術生產的觸控面板,樣品1和樣品2的第一基板和第二基板的材質和厚度均相同,即材質為玻璃,第一基板和第二基板的厚度為3.2mm和4.0mm;樣品1和樣品2的唯一不同在於位於第一基板和第二基板中間的黏結層不同,樣品1為傳統的黏結膠如PSA膠,樣品2為本發明採用的黏結膠如PVB膠。該測試主要是藉由一小球從一定的高度落下衝擊該樣品1和樣品2,測量樣品1和樣品2發生損壞時的高度,進而得出抗衝擊能力的強弱。測試結果見下述表1和表2。表1為樣品1落球衝擊實驗結果表,表2為樣品2落球衝擊實驗結果表,比較表1及表2之測試結果,可以發現,當小球從40cm高度下落時,樣品1損壞,而小球從50cm至125cm的高度下落時,樣品2仍是完好的,故藉由該測試可知本發明之具有貼合結構的電子裝置之抗衝擊強度係高於傳統技術之抗衝擊強度的3倍左右。

本發明之優點係提供一種具有貼合結構的電子裝置及其製造方法,藉由選用同時具有物理與化學黏結性的固態黏結膠,使該電子裝置具有較強的抗衝擊能力,並且可降低材料成本。

Claims (4)
- 一種具有貼合結構的電子裝置,包含:一第一玻璃基板;一觸控感應元件,形成在該第一玻璃基板上;一第二玻璃基板;以及一固態黏結層,設置於該第一玻璃基板與該第二玻璃基板之間,該固態黏結層分別與該第一玻璃基板和該第二玻璃基板形成一氫鏈結鍵而使該第一玻璃基板與該第二玻璃基板黏結在一起,其中該電子裝置為一觸控裝置,其中,該固態黏結層具有的拉伸強度大於或等於200kg/cm2及收縮率小於3%。
