Description

自泵送油膜軸承
本發明係有關於一種可用於軋鋼機之油膜軸承中的系統,藉此可移除從一轉動式套筒與一圍繞此套筒的固定式軸襯之間切線地流出之油的層流。
在一典型之軋鋼機油膜軸承中,一套筒圍繞一滾筒頸部並可與其一起轉動。此套筒被軸接以便轉動於一包含於一定盤中之固定式軸襯內。此套筒與軸襯之大小設定成可界定一間隙於其間。在操作期間,油被持續地引入此間隙內,而油就在此處經由套筒而被轉動地推進至一介於套筒與軸襯間且位在軸承荷載區域處之以液體動力方式所維持之薄膜內。油的諸層流自此軸承之各相對端處成切線地流出至若干集油槽內,油自此藉由重力移除,以便在被循環回到軸承之前先被過濾與冷卻。
此配置之缺點在於:需要大直徑之排放管線以容納從軸承流出之油的重力流。這些排放管線占據一過量之內部空間並因此不利地增加了此軸承之總體大小。亦須關切的是要確保諸排放管線係以設計來防止油從裡襯向上流入並溢出軸承集油槽之間距,適當地安裝。
概括而言,本發明之目的在於運用轉動式軸承組件之動能來將油泵送出軸承。因為油被強制推進,所以較小排放管線可用來處理流出之油流,而無需維持容納重力流所 需之排放間距。
本發明之這些及其他特徵與優點現將配合若干附圖,詳細說明於下文中。
首先參照第1圖,圖中將以符號10表示軋鋼機之油膜軸承。此軸承包括一套筒12,其被固定在一滾筒16之漸縮頸部14上。此套筒被軸接以供轉動在一被包含於一定盤20內之固定式軸襯18中。此套筒與軸襯之大小設定成可界定一間隙「G」於其間。在操作期間,油被持續地引入此間隙內,而油就在此處經由套筒而被轉動地推進至一介於套筒與軸襯間,且位在軸承荷載區域處之以液體動力方式所維持之薄膜內。油的諸層流自此軸承之諸相對端處成切線地流出。
封件總成22a、22b分別位於此軸承之內側端及外側端處。另參照第2圖將可見到,內側封件總成22a包括一撓性且彈性之頸封件24,其裝設在漸縮狀滾筒頸部14上,以便連同套筒12一起轉動。此頸封件被一固定於定盤20上之封件端板26所圍繞。
在傳統之軸承中,從套筒與軸襯之間切線地逃出之油的層流被收納在一集油槽28a中,油藉由重力而由此集油槽處滴出。如由第6及6A圖可見,從間隙G逃脫之油具有該套筒在表面處之速度Vs ,及在該軸襯表面的速度Vo 。此速度分布產生一平均速度Vs /2。
然而,在本發明中,一圓形延長部30橫跨一介於封件端板26與定盤20間之間隙。若干位於頸封件上之凸緣32密封地接觸若干位於封件端板上之肩部34,且一位於頸封件上之拋油環36密封地接觸一位於延長部30上之圓形肩部38。由拋油環36、延長部30及定盤20所提供之若干限制表面與套筒12及軸襯18相協作,以界定一環狀內側腔室40a,其係由集油槽28a所隔離,並被配置以收納從套筒與軸襯間之間隙G處切線地流出之油的層流。若干葉片42伸入腔室40a。如藉由額外參考第3圖最清楚可見的,諸葉片42係被頸封件24所承載,並與此頸封件24之周圍相隔開。
如第4圖所示,延長部30包括一與環狀腔室40a成切線連通之出口44。一軟管46被連接至此出口44,並通向該軸承之內部,以便連接一傳統之軋鋼機潤滑系統(未示於圖)。
出口44之大小係相對於被收納在環狀腔室40a中之油量設定,以使得該腔室在穩定狀態操作期間可保持充滿油。如前所提及,封件24與套筒12被裝設在滾筒頸部14上並與其一起轉動。因此,由封件24所承載之諸葉片42與套筒一起以此套筒之速度轉動。如第7圖所示,在由諸葉片42所橫跨之環狀腔室40a的橫截面區域中,該因此被推進之油的速度維持在套筒之速度Vs 處。與第6A圖所示由傳統配置之速度分布所導出之相當適度的能量位準相比較,本發明之增大速度分布提供一種顯著增加之能量位準,其可有效地泵送腔室40a周圍之油,經由出口44將其送出。
參照第5圖可見,一類似配置藉由封件總成22b設於該軸承之外側端。在此,一環狀外側腔室40b係由若干位於一延伸在軸襯18與定盤20間之延長部48、一被固定於套筒12上之環件50、及一由延長部48所承載之唇封件52上的限制表面所界定。諸葉片42被固定至套筒12,並自此處徑向地伸入腔室40b。
雖然未示於圖,但可理解的是延長部48包括一外側出口,其類似於第4圖中之44處所示之內側出口。此外側出口係與外側腔室40b成切線連通,並被連接至一第二軟管58(如第1圖中所示)。
因此將可看見,諸葉片42用以控制諸經選定之軸承組件(諸如:位於內側端處之頸封件24及位於外側端處之套筒18)的轉動動能,以便可發揮將油從諸環狀腔室40a、40b處強制噴出之泵送作用。如前所提及,藉由強制噴出油而非依賴重力流動,將可在不需考慮維持重力間距之下運用,且策略性地安置較小直徑之排放管線。

Claims (16)

  1. 一種可用於軋鋼機油膜軸承中之系統,藉此移除從一轉動式套筒與一圍繞該套筒的固定式軸襯之間切線地流出之油的層流,該系統包括:複數個限制表面,其界定一環狀腔室,其被配置以收納該油的層流;複數個葉片,其伸入該腔室內,而該等葉片可與該套筒一起以該套筒之速度轉動,藉此在該腔室周圍推進該油;及一出口,其係與該腔室成切線連通,以便移除藉由該等葉片之轉動而被推進該腔室周圍之該油,而與被收納於該腔室中之油量相關之該出口的大小設定成可使該腔室在該等葉片轉動期間保持充滿油。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項之系統,其中該套筒被安裝在一滾筒頸部上,及其中該等限制表面係部分地由一亦被安裝在該滾筒頸部上以便與其一起轉動之彈性封件所界定。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第2項之系統,其中該軸襯被固定在一定盤內,且該等限制表面係部分地由一圍繞該封件且被固定於該定盤上之封件端板所界定。
  4. 如申請專利範圍第3項之系統,其中該等限制表面係部分地由一橫跨一位在該封件端板與該定盤間之間隙的圓形延長部所界定。
  5. 如申請專利範圍第4項之系統,其中該出口被形成於該 圓形延長部中。
  6. 如申請專利範圍第5項之系統,其中該等葉片被承載在該封件上,以便與其一起轉動。

  8. 如申請專利範圍第1項之系統,其中該等限制表面係部分地由一被固定於該套筒上以便與其一起轉動之圓形密封環件所界定。
  9. 如申請專利範圍第8項之系統,其中該等葉片被承載在該套筒上,以便與其一起轉動。
  10. 如申請專利範圍第8項之系統,其中該等限制表面係部分地由一被固定於該軸襯上之圓形延長部所界定,而該圓形延長部係與該環件成徑向相隔開,以便界定一間隙於其間。
  11. 如申請專利範圍第10項之系統,其中該等限制表面係部分地由一橫跨該間隙且被固定於該圓形延長部上之撓性封件所界定。
  12. 如申請專利範圍第11項之系統,其中該等葉片被承載在該套筒上,以便與其一起轉動。
  13. 如申請專利範圍第10項之系統,其中該出口形成於該圓形延長部中。
  14. 如申請專利範圍第10項之系統,其中該等葉片承載在該套筒上,以便與其一起轉動。
  15. 一種可供使用於軋鋼機油膜軸承中之系統,其中油被引 導於一轉動式套筒與一圍繞該套筒的固定式軸襯間,及其中該油從該軸承之一內側端與一外側端以層流形式切線地流出,該系統包括:複數個限制表面,其係與該套筒及該軸襯協作以便界定一環狀內側腔室及一外側腔室,其被分別地配置以收納從該軸承之該內側端及該外側端切線地流出之該油的層流;複數個葉片,其伸入該等腔室內,且該等葉片可與該套筒一起以該套筒之速度轉動,藉此在該等腔室周圍推進被收納在該等腔室中之該油;及一內側出口及一外側出口,其分別與該內側腔室及該外側腔室成切線連通,以便移除藉由該等葉片之轉動而被推進該等腔室周圍之該油,而與被收納於該腔室中之油量相關之該等出口的大小設定成可使該等腔室在該等葉片轉動期間保持充滿油。
  16. 一種可供在軋鋼機油膜軸承中用於移除油的層流之方法,而該油的層流係從一轉動式套筒與一圍繞該轉動式套筒的固定式軸襯之間切線地流出,該方法包括:將該油的層流收納在一環狀腔室中;在該腔室之周圍以該轉動式套筒之速度轉動地推進該油;及在使該腔室保持充滿油之速率下,切線地從該腔室移除該轉動地被推進的油。
