Description
本發明係關於一種用於輥軋機油膜軸承中之系統,其可移除從一旋轉式套筒與一包圍此套筒之固定式軸襯間以切線方向流出之層流流動的油。
在一典型之輥軋機油膜軸承中,一套筒包圍一輥頸並可與其一起旋轉。此套筒被樞接以便在一包含於一定盤中之固定式軸襯內旋轉。此套筒與軸襯之尺寸被設定成可界定一間隙於其間。在操作之過程中,油被連續地引入此間隙內,其中此油被旋轉地推進至一介於此套筒與軸襯件間且位在軸承之荷載區段處之以液體動力方式所維持的薄膜內。層流流動的油從軸承之各端切線方向流出並進入油槽內,而油從此處藉由重力被移除以便在重新循環回至軸承之前先被過濾及冷卻。
此配置之缺點在於必需有大直徑排放管線來容納從諸軸成流出之重力流動的油。這些排放管線佔據一相當可觀的內部空間並因此不利地影響軸承的整個大小。同時必須關切的是要確保此諸排放管線被適當地安裝,而此諸管線之間將被分隔以一被設計來防止油回流至並淹沒諸軸承油槽之間距。
根據本發明,複數個限制表面(包括一建立於一撓性密封件與一相鄰軸承組件之間的密封介面)界定一環形腔室,其係與一軸承油槽相隔離並被配置收納從套筒
與軸襯間所流出之層流流動的油。而因此被收納之該油藉由複數個以此套筒之速度旋轉之推進器而被旋轉地推進於此腔室之周圍。一排放導管與此腔室成切線連通,以便可移除被旋轉推進的油。一位於排放導管中之文氏管被連接至該油槽。此文氏管用以抽吸任何通過密封介面而洩漏至油槽內之油。
本發明之特徵與優點在下文中將配合參照附圖進一步地詳細說明。
先參照第1圖,一輥軋機油膜軸承10。此軸承包括一套筒12,其被固定至一輥16之錐頸14上。此套筒被樞接以便可旋轉於一包含在一定盤20內之固定式軸襯18中。此套筒與軸襯的尺寸被設定成可界定一間隙「G」於其間。在操作之過程中,油被連續地引入此間隙內,使油可藉由套筒而被旋轉推入至一介於此套筒與軸襯件間且位在此軸承之荷載區段處以液體動力方式所維持的薄膜內。諸層流流動之油從軸承之諸相對端處呈切線地方式流出。
若干密封總成22a、22b被分別地安置在此軸承之內側及外側端部。另請參照第2圖將可見,內側密封總成22a包括一撓性且彈性之頸封件24,其被安裝在錐狀輥頸部14以便與其並連同套筒12一起旋轉。此頸封件被一固定於定盤20上之密封端板26所包圍。
在傳統之軸承中,從該套筒與軸襯間以切線方式溜出之層流流動的油被收納於一油槽28a中,而油藉由重
力從此處被排出。
然而,在本發明中,一圓形延長部30橫跨一介於密封端板26與定盤20間之間隙。若干位於該頸封件上之凸緣32密封地接觸若干位於密封端板上之肩部34,且一密封介面35係藉由一拋油環36而被設置在該頸封件上並與一位於延長部30上之圓形肩部38成密封接觸。若干經由拋油環36、延長部30、密封介面35、及定盤20所提供之限制表面會與套筒12及軸襯18配合以界定一環形內側腔室40a,其係與油槽28a相隔離,並被配置收納介於套筒與軸襯間之間隙G處以切線方式流出之層流流動的油。若干推進器42伸入腔室40a內。另請參照第3圖可見,該等被頸封件24所承載之推進器42,在頸封件24周邊外圍處被分隔開。
延長部30包括一位於密封介面35上之排放孔30a。任何通過密封介面35所洩漏之油將經由此排放孔30a被排放至油槽28a內。如第4圖中所示,延長部30亦包括一與環形腔室40a呈切線連通之出口44。一軟管46被連接至出口44並通往該軸承之內部,以便可與一傳統之軋機潤滑系統(圖中未視出)相連接。
出口44尺寸之大小係相對於收納在環形腔室40a中之油的量而設計,使得該腔室可在穩態操作期間均保持充滿油。如先前注意到的,密封件24與套筒12被安裝在輥頸部14上並與其一起旋轉。因此,由密封件24所承載之諸推進器42將會與該套筒一起以該套筒之速度旋轉。
參照第4圖可見,一類似之配置可藉由密封總承22b被設置在該軸承之外側端部處。在此,一環形外側腔室40b係由若干位於一延伸於軸襯18與定盤20間之延長部48上的限制表面、一被固定至套筒12上之環件50、一由延長部48所承載之唇封件52、及一介於唇封件52與環件50間之密封介面53所界定。該等推進器42確保及計畫套筒12呈放射狀的進入腔室40b。任何通過密封介面53所洩漏之油經由一介於延長部48與定盤20間之間隔55而排放至油槽28b。
雖未顯示說明,但可理解的是延長部48包括一與第4圖中所示內側出口44相類似之外側出口。此外側出口係與外側腔室40b切線地連通,並被連接至一第二軟管58。
如第2及5A圖中所示,一文氏管60被配置在排放導管46中。一抽吸導管62將此文氏管連接至油槽28a。如第4圖中所示,一位於排放導管58中之第二文氏管60’則藉由一抽吸導管62’而被連接至油槽28b。
或者,如第5B圖中所示,兩油槽28a、28b可被互相連接於64處,且兩排放導管46、58可被結合成一單一導管66。一單一文氏管68可被安置在導管66中,並經由一單一抽吸導管70而被連接至諸油槽中之一者。
因此將可見的是,諸推進器42用以利用諸經選定之軸承組件(例如,位於內側端處之頸封件24及位於外側端處之套筒18)的轉動動能,以便可施加一強制地將油從諸環形腔室40a、40b逐出之泵喞作用。如上已注意的,藉由強制逐出油而非依賴重力流動,將使得較小直徑之排放導管46、48可被運用且可在不考慮重力間距之維持下被策略性地安置。
任何通過諸密封介面35及53洩漏至諸油槽28a及28b內的油將可藉由被策略性地安置在諸排放導管中之諸文氏管而抽吸,因此而確保全部的油在軸承之穩態操作期間均可被有效率地再循環。

Claims (10)
- 一種用於輥軋機油膜軸承中之系統,其可移除從一旋轉式套筒與一包圍該套筒的固定式軸襯間所流出之油,該系統包括:一環狀腔室,其被配置來收納該流出之油,該腔室藉由複數個限制表面而與一排放油槽隔離,而該等限制表面包括一密封介面,其係由一與該軸承的一相鄰剛性組件相接觸之撓性密封件所界定;複數個推進器,其伸入該腔室內並可與該套筒一起以該套筒之速度旋轉,以便繞著該腔室旋轉地推進油;一排放導管,其切線地與該腔室連通,並被配置成可收納繞著該腔室旋轉地被推進周圍之經加壓流動的油;一文氏管,其位於該排放導管中;及一抽吸導管,其將該文氏管連接至該排放油槽,且從該環形腔室處通過該密封介面而逃至該排放油槽內之油,係經由該排放導管通過該抽吸導管而被抽吸出以移除。
- 一種用於輥軋機油膜軸承中之系統,其中油被引導於一旋轉式套筒及一包圍該套筒之固定式軸襯,且其中因此被引導之油從該軸承之內側端與外側端處以層流流動之型式切線地流出,該系統包括:複數個限制表面,其包括複數個用以界定複數個環狀內側及外側腔室之密封介面,而該等內側及外側 腔室分別地與複數個互連之內側及外側排放油槽相隔離,並被配置成可收納從該軸承之該等內側與外側端處切線地流出的該等層流流動之油;複數個推進器,其伸入該等腔室內並可與該套筒一起以該套筒之速度旋轉,藉此而在該腔室周圍旋轉地推進被收納在該等腔室中之油;複數個排放導管,其切線地與該等腔室相連通,並通達一共同排放導管,經此可移除藉由旋轉該等推進器而被推進於該等腔室周圍的油;一文氏管,其位於該排放導管中;及一抽吸導管,其將該文氏管連接至該等油槽中之一者,且藉其抽吸通過該等密封介面而逃至該等排放油槽內之油,以便經由該共同排放導管而進行移除。
- 一種用於輥軋機油膜軸承中之系統,其可移除從一旋轉式套筒與一包圍該套筒的固定式軸襯間所流出之油,該系統包括:一環狀腔室,其被配置來收納該流出之油,該腔室藉由複數個限制表面而與一排放油槽隔離,而該等限制表面包括一密封介面;複數個推進器,其伸入該腔室內以旋轉該套筒方向及該套筒之速度旋轉,以便繞著該腔室旋轉地推進油;一排放導管,其與該腔室連通,並被配置成可收納繞著該腔室旋轉地被推進之油;一文氏管,其位於該排放導管中;及 一抽吸導管,其將該文氏管連接至該排放油槽,且從該環形腔室處通過該密封介面而逃至該排放油槽內之油,係經由該排放導管通過該抽吸導管而被抽吸出以移除之。
- 如請求項3之系統,其中該套筒係固定在輥之錐頸,且其中該密封介面係由一安裝在輥頸部且與相鄰之軸承剛性組件接觸之撓性密封件所界定。

- 一種用於在輥軋機油膜軸承中移除層流流動之油的方法,該油係從一旋轉式套筒與一包圍該套筒的固定式軸襯間切線地流出者,該方法包括:收納該層流流動之油於一環狀腔室中,該腔室藉由包括一撓性密封件之複數個限制表面而與一排放油 槽隔離;在該腔室周圍以該旋轉式套筒之速度旋轉地推進油;以一可使該腔室保持充滿油之速率從該腔處切線地移除油;及同時抽吸並移除任何通過該密封介面而逃至該油槽內之油。
